Yeah but I used the edelbrock TV cable geometry correction bracket #8026 it seems to be ok. The throttle assembly on the Killshot is similar to edelbrock 1406.

Does anyone know why i need do give my royal flush a little bit of throttle to start up, and why it bogs down when i get on full throttle ? Also its shooting when i let go of the gas

Change them hose clamps before it leaves you stuck somewhere…i put one of these systems on my sons ‘67 mustang 289….its a great system for being a tbi….made a night and day difference on that tired old 289

I ordered mine around Thanksgiving. Same thing installation guide missing pages, and they sent me an extra suction mount.

Probably don't make any changes in open loop? Also, can't you just turn it off and on 5 times? Key on engine off 5 times

I changed the spark plugs, I cleaned the throttle body. The weird thing is that it had oil on the old plugs but no check engine light. I clean the Mass Air Flow sensor itself, but not the element within it. I am going to do that now. The added problem is that it shows a overheating problem in idol. As if it doesn't idol higher to cool down in idol. It has a misfire code along with the PO300. This is frustrating not only for me but with the mechanic that I'm dealing with. Dealerships hold vehicles up to three days and they always try to charge for replacement of computer within the trucks. I have friends that had the same experience with them. They always refer to the computer replacement first for high dollar return. At the inconvenience of wait time. To only find out that it never resolves the problem. I have been through this before with them with other vehicles. Looking to find the conclusion on my own is frustrating but I know there is a good easy fix.

Pisces my 04 had code po 300. Miss fire idled rough. Change the plugs and coil packs. Still ran like crap. Pulled the vvt sensor out it still had all the screens on it .I went ahead and replaced it and now the trucks runs perfect

Pisces check your vvt sensor.these engines are know for that going bad.before you change coil packs pull the vvt out and check it.a lot of times the screens come off.my screens were still on it.but the vvt sensor was bad.that sensor controls the timings etc.when they go bad it will idle like crap miss fire code check engine light will come on

@@thunderroad7289 That is exactly what is happening with mine. Also in the winter it will tell me at cold start on my dash board when I start to ride away that I need to check my thermastat. It doesn't do that in the spring or summer but just the winter. It does have a a rough idol at start but smooth out a little when running. I have been clearing the codes P300 and 303 pending each time then it will smooth out a little in idol then start back up again when it gets overheated in idol again. Pattern goes on and on each time. I believe just gave me the solution. Much thanks. I replaced a lot of things myself with this issue including the coolant sensor.

Pisces mine was running like crap at idle but when I started driving it above idle it it was okay . That vvt will make it run like crap at idle when it goes bad.its easy to change its just one ten mm bolt to remove . If you look on passenger side of motor below oil fill cap on the side you will see a wire plugged into a sensor. Just unplug the sensor. You have to use a screw driver to pull up the white safety tab that locks it into place first then push in and pull away. Then just remove the ten mm bolt twist it a little as you pull on it and it will come out.take you ten minutes to do. Also before you start to do it disconnect the battery for at least 20 minutes this will help with the computer to relearn idle etc. when you start it let it run for awhile so it will for a lack of a better word relearn idle

96 ranger 3.0 133k miles on it the egr down tube rotted and needs replaced but those tubes are not cheap so i,m headed too Pull-a-Part tomorrow and try to find 1 there instead!
