Gorgeous! 5:33 this one in particular was very cool. I’ve had a similar idea for ages but your pouring technique gave a good idea. I’ll be sure to mention you if I ever post it. I’m not much of a soap poster.

I also am vegan but use honey as well. Honey is just so good for you, and I'm looking to make a honey bee soap. I may use honey in it now that I know it makes the soap silky !

Hi, I seen just a belly band were you don’t have to fold it underneath. How can I create that style? I buy a pdf from etsy for it but am having issues since the soap are different sizes and the ingredients inf. On the back is off center everytime. Am trying to find an easier, cost effective way. Thank you

I like to keep the sharp edges, so I leave my soap to cure just as is. Then after the cure if necessary I use my fingernail to even out the edges, but not the way shown in the video, but the other way around, so the soap gets on top of my nail and not underneath it. But the fingernail method needs some tlc and can‘t be rushed. When I‘m in a hurry I use the vegetable peeler. After the cure it only removes a tiny bit of soap, the edges stay kinda sharp, but are also a tiny bit beveled. Best of both worlds.

My grandma used a peach pitter but she made lye soap and had no sent but she used it for everything from dish soap to laundry soap hand soap, it was all processed according to what she was using it for but the bar soap that went in the bathroom she took the edge off with the peach pitter tool , to let you know how many years ago this was I’m now 69 and I have memory of her and soap from around age 5 , I really wish I lived closer to her especially when I was younger adult and would have learned all her gardening tricks and quilting techniques , nothing she cooked came from a store bought can or box she grew an acre garden year round and raised a hog and a calf for there meat she had chickens and one old milk cow . She was definitely full of knowledge and made all her own medicine. She was native Indian and my grandfather immigrated from Germany when he was very young . I love your soap videos !

Hi love this video I never buy open soaps as I do not like everyone picking them up and sniffing and other things on the soaps I saw a gentleman sneeze on a soap and it put me off before I buy them I saw that certain papers discolour the soaps is that true
