Bea saying she's a member of the young socialists and in her next line of dialogue paraphrasing Marx is great. I hadn't read any of Marx at the time I first played the game a few years back, and even now because it's only half the quote I did a double take as she spoke.

I really love ❤️ Bea she’s harsh but she means well, she had to put up so much with her dad,her mom being gone, and her coworkers at her job are total sleazy losers😢 if I ever get this game I am going to spend everyday with Bea (once or twice with Greg or Angus because they’re Adorable) in the future she’s going to be the boss of the Old Pickaxe ⛏️ or be her own boss (Gasslight,Gatekeep, GIRLBOSS)

I think bea has always cared and has always wanted to care but after a long time of suppression, drastic life-changes, responsibility and not having many people in her life; she hardened her heart. Mae helped lower those walls, and bea was and is trying to change for the better because of mae. One interesting fact about bea other than her not smoking at the end is that if you go the gregg route and do legends instead of proximity; bea will get cold feet and NOT go to the party. This shows that during that sequence mae possibly messed things up a bit,but bea appreciated and needed someone she can feel comfortable with. Bea herself even says, if you choose to do legends, that she stays home and just watches online tv shows and wanted to be on her own. Bea comes off as a jerk and sometimes can be abrasive, but she does so because she wants and does care immensely for the friendship mae provides. Mae becomes bea’s corner per say.

Though I think I liked hanging out with Greg more I felt more satisfied with the Bea ending. Not sure why it just felt more complete.

Well, its probably because Bea is so distant towards Mae in the story and in Bea's ending they reconciliated and became friends again. Gregg is still Mae's friend regardless of what happened so his ending feels less complete than Bea who finally fixed her friendship with Mae.

I just finished the game for the 1st time and got the Gregg ending. I played putting myself in Mae's shoes. I dunno, Bea seems nice and I did hang out with her but I feel like realistically I'd rather hang out with my high school best friend than my middle school one who starts off with an attitude. As it is I already have a similar scenario. My middle school friend ditched me and stopped talking to me when I started having a rough time with my depression. In high school she moved away and I found new friends and had several people I'd consider close. If we were to all reunite I'd talk to them much more than her.

I'm so conflicted about which ending I like better. On the one hand I feel like its better for Bea to have just... * someone * in her life, but on the other hand I feel like Gregg is a really good friend for Mae. He also rulz, ok?

This is late but I think that this ending is better, for the fact that if you don't be there for her, she would probably be a lot less happy without anyone there for her - she'd probably still be going to them parties and putting on a front, too. That and I think that Gregg only really needs Angus, because of how close their relationship is, Gregg did say that Mae had to let him grow up, so he wouldn't have to worry about that too, and when they move out it'd be easier for him to do so.

Im also conflicted same seeing how I got this ending on my second playthrough which I just finished right now. Seems kinda a bit weird how Mae would say this kinda stuff about Gregg, but ig that's just how it goes sometimes. Still really sad especially when you come from the Gregg route and realize the real reason why Gregg needs Angus, and why Angus needs Gregg. Oh well, pick your poison ig! Not saying the game is bad for this though, I understand that they're not saying this because of their relationship, but because of Gregg's general character not being all too responsible, though he tries sometimes!
