Such a good song. He is sovereign and I am not- I am not even sovereign over the next breath I take. “I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me.”

This song breaks me.
@thecrew777 Жыл бұрын
It's supposed to do that. Sure does it to me. But not as much as reading 4 chapters of a book that it came from. Read Job 38-42. (Actually, if you have never read Job, read chapters 1-2 first, then go to 38-42, and that's where this song came from.)

I am! Really glad they mentioned it because my favorite go-to chapters when I get off balance in the Bible are Job 38-42. Always sets me back where I belong again.

This song is amazing. I recently lost my uncle, we traveled to support his family. A few days after we got there, everyone got sick and tested positive for covid. Only the ones who tested negative could attend the funeral, it was horrible. Bad stuff, after bad stuff, after bad stuff continued. Through all of this, this song has been there for me. God is almighty and powerful, and he can handle this. Who am I to question? I can't see his plan, and I just have to trust him.

I will always remember the Bible Project's video about the book Job. In the end Job didn't know why God did what He did, but Job became someone who trusted God's wisdom.

Ok this comment is going to be a long one So I've attended a private Christian school since 6th grade I've really enjoyed my time there but this year was a bit of a downfall due to the pandemic all though I tried to show I was happy on the outside however on the inside I was destroyed my emotions got ahold of me,my anxiety felt like making me feel like I was being suffocated to death and all that happened on March 12th-March 31st the really sad thing is I felt like someone was isolating me from talking but I just felt super mentally ill anyways throughout all that mess I felt like God had forgotten about me because I didn't know that was part of His plan for me and so every day I would think "God where were you when I started crying? Is this part of your plan for me?" And then start crying again But it turns out God didn't forget about me I just didn't pray to Him about it because I'm honestly a little shy about praying but it's ok Basically what I'm trying to say is don't let burdens on you pile up if you pray He'll remove the burdens stay safe guys and gals ❤

I hope this past year has been much better. One bright side is that no one knows you better than your Creator and no one loves you more than He does. Even not so great parents will take time to listen to their children, how much more does a perfect Father wish to hear from you.
@Annagiraffelover77 Жыл бұрын
@@NONO-hz4vo Yeah. I left that comment before I started freshman year of high school, I'm a sophomore now and now I see why God had me go through it, to build my strength 💪
