We need to hear a wider variety of Paster Smith.Many of his messages are timeless.Although he be sleep, yet does he speak. Time is the essence of the fire that burns within us. What we do with in time , it will determine the fire that will burn beyond our time. Let Pastor Smith speak freely, that we may be comforted, by his words of truth. Thank you.

Wow! So glad to see this uploaded. Thank you Jesus for this anointed man of God. He preached and espounded the word of God, with clarity, understanding, under the power of the almighty God. Miss you Pastor Smith. I am not a member at Deliverance now, I use to be when we were on Broad street. Oh the move of God and the word that always came forth was so blessed! I remember how you use to sing the old ship of zion, and Oh i want to see him, look upon His face, sometimes before you brought the message. No one could sing that song like you. I remember to this day when you preached with such an anointing, the sermon "Take God at His Word"! I remember it to this day, and more of the word of God you taught us to trust and live by, still to this day! God bless you, see you around the throne, Papa Smith.

I received Jesus as my Lord and Saviour at Deliverance on August 3rd 1975, at Broad and Wyoming Ave.I am very thankful that I can still hear Pator Smith's messages.

I received the Holy Ghost at the church 17th & Venango 27 yrs old. I was Baptized as well. Pastor Smith also joined me in Holy Matrimony at his home on Carlisle St. I am still walking with the Savior at 71 yrs of age. d

Miss the voice of my pastor....didn't realize as a child the affect he had on my life as a child..the Bible say train up a child.a I think God he was one of my trainer...I miss you and rip

I to had the opportunity to sit in the presence of this great preacher as a child. I listened, or should I say, I head Pastor Smith give the Word from his heart Sunday after Sunday. First on 17th Street and then on Broad Street. But I had no idea what was going on. After giving my life to Christ as an adult I would hear Pastor’s voice from time to time. And as I draw closer to God , I seem to want to hear Pastor Smith’s sermons from back in the day. Be I know he was real and a soldier on the battlefield for the Lord. I thank my mother for exposing me to the Deliverance Church experience. Mother is 90 yrs. of age now, but has always loved Pastor Smith, his wife and children. She also loved the members: The Beechums, Boldens, Sis. Williams, Browns and many more. Bro. Brown use to give me .25 cents every time he saw me n Church. The more I think about them the more I miss them. Mother Brown and family down here in North Carolina send you all at Deliverence a big hello and wonderful blessings!🙏🏾🙏🏾

I miss him after all these years... The shuttle calm voice that grips your hearing and then the Spirit of the God captures your heart, mind and soul to just breath in words of live... Pastor Benjamin Smith,Sr. (P.B.S.) as we affectionately was a man of great vision before his time. He was truly anointed. We loved him and miss him much. He taught us well. My family is one of the original families from the very beginning.
