I was 9 years old when I first heard this song and I truly noticed and enjoyed the song and now 59 years later it is still one of my favorites.

Jackie was my best friend, for a girl, in elementary school and I did not know it until NOW. I truly did love her! Old age is sad because you look back and you have so many regrets, what if I had, and so on. If any young fools read this, don’t hesitate, tell her you love her and if it is meant to be you will find out. Believe me you will have no regrets when you get old.

The show shindig was great. Not lip sync as the lame Dick Clark show was. Another great shindig performance is Jackie Wilson; check that out too.
