4:16 that’s not true, Oakville port is not accessible for fishing
@FishingBooker
@FishingBooker 8 күн бұрын
Hey there! Thanks for the comment, we were referring to the town of Oakville in the Greater Toronto Area. According to their own website, fishing is permitted in Oakville, but only in the following areas: - On Sixteen Mile Creek (provided it is not off a bridge or roadway) a minimum of 50 meters upstream of the last upstream dock in the Oakville Harbour - On Bronte Creek north of the Rebecca Street bridge, at Petro Canada Park and other creek access points. - And on both sides of the west pier at Bronte Harbour Oakville offers and advertises a variety of angling opportunities. However, please be sure to look out for any ‘No Fishing’ signs, posted in areas where fishing isn't allowed. For more information, you can visit the Town of Oakville's website and scroll down to the 'Fishing' section: www.oakville.ca/parks-recreation-culture/parks-gardens-trails/harbours/. Tight lines!

@FishingBooker
@FishingBooker 18 күн бұрын
Hey there, absolutely! Guanacaste's got a little bit for everyone - both saltwater and freshwater options. Offshore, you can target Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado, Tuna, and more. Inshore and freshwater fishing opportunities include species like Roosterfish, Rainbow Bass (Guapote), and Machaca. It really is a spectacular region worth checking out. If you need help booking a trip, check out FishingBooker.com or our app for top-rated charters. Tight lines! 🎣"

Hi and thanks for watching! Your best bet would be to check directly with the Washington Department of Fishing & Wildlife because prices can change from time to time. Here is a link to their page with current fishing license prices: wdfw.wa.gov/licenses/fishing/types-fees. Hope this helps and let us know if you need any other information!

Hey there, thanks for the comment! As a fair charter booking platform, we don't want to play favorites among our tremendous captains down there, but if you head to fishingbooker.com/destinations/location/mx/QR/cancun, you can read customer reviews, compare prices and amenities, and choose your favorite charter based on your criteria. You can also just download our app on your phone. Hope you have an awesome time and let us know if you need any other info. Tight lines!

Hey, I saw one of these yesterday in the freshwater Delray intercoastal and I couldn’t get them to buy it with a jerk bait and a floater. What type of rig and tackle did you catch him on and what works best to catch them they are right around the corner from my house.
@FishingBooker
@FishingBooker 2 ай бұрын
Hey there, thanks for your question! We're not sure what specific setup this customer used with this particular guide as we were just the booking platform used to reserve the trip. However, Clown knife fish can be tricky to catch, especially with artificial lures. The best way to target them is with live bait, such as shad or minnows. Use a medium-heavy spinning rod with a 10-20 lb test line. A simple rig with a small hook and a light split shot weight works well. Cast near structures or areas with slower-moving water where they like to hide. Good luck, and tight lines!

Whays a kind salmon stamp😊
@Fetecheney
@Fetecheney 24 күн бұрын
Since king salmon are so popular to fish, you need to have a specific stamp on top of the regular fishing license to allow you to fish for salmon. This helps them make sure they don't get over-fished.

If you 20 and just wanna catch and release in local lakes and rivers what kinda of package would be best for me
@FishingBooker
@FishingBooker 2 ай бұрын
Hey there and thanks for watching! This really all depends on whether you're a resident or not, how frequently you fish throughout the year, etc. Also, keep in mind that for some lakes, such as Lake Texoma, you can get a separate "Lake Texoma License" for $12 and fish anywhere on the lake. You can find out more and purchase your fishing license on the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department website or at local retailers. If you want to try a guided trip, check out fishingbooker.com or our app. Tight lines!

does it make sense to go out when it's 15-20+ wind?
@FishingBooker
@FishingBooker 2 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks for watching! Are you referring to knots, mph, or kph? Because that could make quite a difference. Regardless, when you're deciding whether to go fishing in high winds, you should consider various factors, including boat size, crew experience level, fishing techniques, and safety equipment available. You can search safe and reliable charters, view amenities, customer reviews, and book a fishing trip at fishingbooker.com or by downloading the app. And always remember to check the local forecast or contact your captain before your trip if you're unsure about conditions. In the meantime, let us know if you need any more information! Tight lines 🎣

I heard there is no fishing license in puerto rico
@FishingBooker
@FishingBooker 2 ай бұрын
Hi and thanks for watching! According to the NOAA, you don't need a license to fish in federal waters (which begin 3 nautical miles out from the island), however, you still need a license to fish in local waters (within that 3-mile limit). The easiest thing would be to hop on a fishing charter, as your license is automatically included in the trip. Just head to fishingbooker.com or download the app to take a look at charters in the area and book your trip. Otherwise, for more info on fishing licenses and other rules and regulations, we recommend checking out the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DRNA) main website as laws can change from time to time. Let us know if you need any other help and good luck!

If your fishing with an exempt person do you need a license
@FishingBooker
@FishingBooker 2 ай бұрын
Hey and thanks for watching! In Alabama, if you're assisting a person who is exempt from needing a fishing license (such as a resident under a certain age or a disabled person), you may be exempt from needing a fishing license as well, as long as you are only assisting the exempt person and not fishing yourself. However, if you are actively fishing (i.e., handling fishing gear, baiting hooks, casting lines, etc.), then you would typically need a fishing license, regardless of whether the person you're with is exempt. In any case, we highly recommend checking with the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources by either visiting them online or calling during their regular working hours. Rules and regs and change regularly so it's important to check for the most up-to-date information. Hope this helps and tight lines out there! 🎣

Hey there, thanks for watching! There are tons of great land-based fishing spots throughout the Chesapeake area, it really all just depends on what you're looking for. Here's a good list to get you started: Great Bridge Lock Park (Chesapeake), Elizabeth River Park (Chesapeake), Ocean View Fishing Pier (Norfolk), and Virginia Beach Fishing Pier (VA Beach). You can increase your chances of catching fish by booking a local guide who knows all the best spots. Just head to FishingBooker.com or download the app to find the best charter for you. Good luck and let us know if you need any other info. Tight lines!

Where can I rent fishing rods in Nassau?
@FishingBooker
@FishingBooker 3 ай бұрын
Hey there, thanks for watching! There are several tackle rental options available in Nassau. Many hotels and resorts in the area offer equipment rental services, including fishing rods. Additionally, most local fishing charter companies in Nassau include rods, reels, and tackle on their trips, so that's one less thing to worry about if you want to fish with a guide. If you're fishing on your own, you can find many of the local tackle shops online with a quick search on the internet. However, f you're staying at a hotel, it's always a good idea to just ask your resort's concierge services for recommendations on where to rent fishing equipment, or you can check with local fishing charter companies and tackle shops directly. Enjoy your fishing experience in Nassau and tight lines!
