The reefs are dead near🎉shore in the central pacific. Thanks to commercial fisherman in Puntarenas and all the trash and waste flowing into the ocean from rivers. Would like to thank Coca Cola and Pepsi for the millons of tons of plastic strewn across the country now!

if i buy one right now in december does that mean it expires and ill have to nuy a 2025 annual again in january
@FishingBooker14 күн бұрын
Hey, thanks for watching! Great question! In California, annual fishing licenses are valid from January 1st to December 31st of the same year, regardless of when you purchase them. If you buy a license in December, it will still expire at the end of the year, so you’d need to purchase a new 2025 license starting in January. Let us know if you need more info, tight lines!"

@FishingBooker2 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks for sharing your experience! Prices for fishing trips can vary a lot depending on the location, and Key West tends to be more expensive than Barbados overall. The cost of living and general expenses in Key West are significantly higher, which is why charters there often come at a premium. That said, each location offers its own unique experience, so hopefully you enjoyed both! Let us know if you have any other questions, and tight lines! 🎣

I know this video is old and you may not see this but do you know if you can catch anything from the surf or any piers, and if yes do you have any spots to recommend?
@FishingBooker2 ай бұрын
Hey there, thanks for watching! Yes, you can definitely catch fish from the surf and piers in the DR. Common catches from shore include Snapper, Jacks, and even Barracuda. It depends on where you'll be visiting exactly, but it you're staying around Punta Cana or Bayahibe, try casting near rocky areas, beaches, or jetties where fish like to gather. Some spots to check out first are: Cabeza de Toro Beach (Punta Cana), Playa Juanillo (near Cap Cana), and Bayahibe Beach. Just keep in mind that shore fishing can vary with conditions, so asking locals or visiting a tackle shop for tips can be super helpful too. You can also book a local charter through fishingbooker.com if you want a guided experience. Hope you have an awesome time fishing in the DR!

@FishingBooker3 ай бұрын
Hey there! The reason we don't include prices in the video is because fishing license fees change from year to year, so we prefer to direct viewers to up-to-date information. That's why we provide a link to our fishing license blog page in the description, where you can find all the latest price breakdowns. You can also check out the official North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission page for the most current prices and regulations: www.ncwildlife.org/Licensing. Hope this helps! Tight lines 🎣

I come to work to Oahu every few weeks for 2 weeks where can I go to fish, I’m basically a local😅
@FishingBooker4 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks for the comment! That sounds like a great set up! Since you're visiting Oahu regularly, you'll have plenty of great options and time to explore. For shore fishing, you can try spots like Ala Moana Beach Park, Sand Island, or Waikiki's Kapahulu Groin for a variety of species. If you're up for some deeper waters, there are plenty of charters out of Kewalo Basin or Waianae Harbor that offer trips targeting big game fish like Marlin, Mahi Mahi, and Ahi Tuna. You can compare charters, read reviews, and book a trip through fishingbooker.com as well. Tight lines and hope you enjoy your time in Oahu!

How do I locate a fish cleaning station?
@FishingBooker4 ай бұрын
Hey there, thanks for watching! To locate a fish cleaning station in Dana Point, you can check with the local marina, as many of them offer cleaning stations for anglers. Dana Point Harbor is a good place to start. If you're going out with a charter, many captains will also offer fish cleaning as part of their service. You can also check with the harbor office for more specific locations. And if you're looking to book a charter, head over to FishingBooker.com or download our app to find top-rated captains in Dana Point. Tight lines! 🎣

People in wheelchairs can get a free fishing license. Print out an application on the DFG and have your doctor sign and send it in.
@FishingBooker4 ай бұрын
That's true! Free sport fishing licenses in California are available to "mobility impaired and blind or developmentally disabled individuals." As you mentioned, eligible individuals typically need to provide documentation of their disability. It's best to check the latest requirements on the official CDFW website or contact their offices directly to get detailed instructions on how to apply.

What an amazing experience. Capt Carlie is prompt, polite and professional. Above all that, he put us on the fish. Went out with my 4 young teen sons and Capt was courteous and patient with them. Explained everything in a way the could follow and understand. Boys caught so many fish they gave up. Then, Capt Charlie gave us a recommendation on where to have fish prepared and WOW. Spot on. You know young teens can be picky but these boys destroyed the entrees! Every way they prepared was delicious. Book Capt Charlie so he can share his secrets with you too. Can’t say enough great things about Capt Charlie and I look forward to using his services again next time. Thank you Capt Charlie!!

@@FishingBooker captain Charlie came as a recommendation from a personal friend, and I reached out to him directly. Needless to say, I was amazed by the experience, and I am now trying to leave a review for him everywhere I possibly can. That being said, as I did not book through your site, I could not find a way to leave a review on your site. If that’s not the case, please let me know.

4:16 that’s not true, Oakville port is not accessible for fishing
@FishingBooker6 ай бұрын
Hey there! Thanks for the comment, we were referring to the town of Oakville in the Greater Toronto Area. According to their own website, fishing is permitted in Oakville, but only in the following areas: - On Sixteen Mile Creek (provided it is not off a bridge or roadway) a minimum of 50 meters upstream of the last upstream dock in the Oakville Harbour - On Bronte Creek north of the Rebecca Street bridge, at Petro Canada Park and other creek access points. - And on both sides of the west pier at Bronte Harbour Oakville offers and advertises a variety of angling opportunities. However, please be sure to look out for any ‘No Fishing’ signs, posted in areas where fishing isn't allowed. For more information, you can visit the Town of Oakville's website and scroll down to the 'Fishing' section: www.oakville.ca/parks-recreation-culture/parks-gardens-trails/harbours/. Tight lines!
