No, you can still roll up your boat with the mounts attached.

Yes you can run on butane but will decrease your engine life considerably because both gas don't work under same pressure and also will be difficult sometimes to cold start on butane. Butane is natural gas and propane is LPG.

Hi John, It is hard to say exactly because it all depends on the weight in the boat, how much throttle you are giving the engine and what kind of water you are on. i.e if you are going against the tide in the sea you will get less than if you are going with the current in a river. Outboard engines are very fuel-efficient but it is always best to take a jerry can of fuel when going anywhere so that you can always top up if needed whilst on the water.
