It all depends on the vector. Pilots experience, Y vector g force from their heads to toes, like a spear going through you, Vlad the impaler style, drains the blood from the brain. This guy is in the Z vector, like if a guy ran up and speared you through the gut, that direction. The blood flows to the back of the body, so passing out is less likely but breathing is so hard. Like five guys lying on your chest.

Pulled 10.2 G.s in a pilatus PC-9 in Ireland once, you can't do in flight normally, you have to pitch down from 4,000 feet and then pitch up and the g force is immense.
