Beautiful car! Can you show the engine bay and interior?

It's cool but if you cut where you instruct it removes the clips and so these will regularly fall off.

How did you place them in there i cut them just like u said, but they dont fit like yours. Even if they have the same height, each one has a different position. There is a little gab between the Climate Controll and the Knobs.

You can better use the Osram BA9s led Bulb... warm white or cool white!!
@ambientsounds14165 жыл бұрын
Every single shop in UK sells these bulbs, Halfords or Eurocarparts have them on their shelves, the bulb is called H6W in automotive term or BA9S Bayonette in electricians terms. The trick is to get 10 watt one or if you get 5watt it wont be as bright but works and I actually prefer 5 watt for angel eyes. The reason im posting this because people seem to struggle to find this bulb and it's just an ordinary BA9 bullb.

AllThings BMW no it stopped working about 2 weeks ago , thought it would be a simple replacement bulb, should’ve known owning a BMW would be expensive, £40 for a bulb takes the piss. But thanks to you I’ll try this, looks straight forward enough. Many thanks.
@ambientsounds14165 жыл бұрын
@@bubba6276 i got a bulb from EurocarParts for £3 not a 10Watt, 5Watt instead and I prefer the dimmer look, you can pay £10 and get a 10watt or order a bulb on ebay. EurocarParts bulb I got Lukas 433a 12v 5w.

I know unfortunately, if you buy off eBay there is lots of sellers that stock them. You can also pick up a used bulb in a scrapyard from a different model like I did in this video.

Would there be a way to fit an led in there?
@djjafa055 жыл бұрын
Yes, of course. I wouldn't use this method as it would be much more work than needed for an LED install. To install and LED you simply remove that whole halogen housing like i did in the video and replace it with the LED bulb housing. You can buy them for like 15 bucks now days and there super bright. Just make sure you get a set with resistors or else they will flash on start up and give you an error on the cluster unless you can code them.
@jorn66445 жыл бұрын
AllThings BMW thanks so much for the help! They seem kinda hard to find with resistors for e90 loci halogens... do you have any ideas of where to look?

You have to add some sellotape to thicken the stalk because they seemed a bit loose but definitely well worth £3 upgrade, can't go wrong.

@@TheStressD I know what you mean. On the first set I cut them to short and as you said they were loose, but I used hot glue as it is transparent and the LED could shine through.
@TheStressD5 жыл бұрын
AllThings BMW That's actually not a bad idea! I cut the middle one ever so slightly to short as well and wasn't moving as freely as the others so I just pulled it out a little bit. I might try some clear double-sided sticky tape or some hot clue if they decide to play up. But good idea mate thanks for the tip.
