I know the pain of vinyl tops. You just cant find them anymore. Im not sure what to make, that most early 70s Continentals on youtube are for sale. Theyre not particularly loved for whatever reason.

Love it. Grandma had one for years. Unfortunately it was just a 340 2 barrel with a 2 speed trans. 4-doors too. But it drove so nice. It was kind of the church-lady version of this one.

Aren't the Fastback and 4-door cars the same length?
@failranch9542Ай бұрын
good question. It would not surprise me. A lot of people think the 4 door version of X is longer - but that's often not the case.

Wow; this is identical to ours growing up. I took my driving test at age 16 in 1980 in it! Mocha Brown. Dad hated the lean burn crap; had to change plugs constantly. Thanks for the flashback.

"Good from far, but far from good" 🙂 I'd hate to see what's brewing away under that vinyl top. Otherwise, not bad for a survivor.

I had a 67 view equal cat. One of the fastest cars I ever had I do not know exactly what the top end of it was but it was an excess of a 130 miles an hour. Love that car show the cause. I couldn't afford to pay. The guy showed it to his shoulder because he couldn't afford to pay the tickets either.

Out of all the cars I've had. This is the one I regret selling the most. A beautiful, red, one owner, 1975 Torino. I bought in 93, near Myrtle Beach SC. It hadn't ran in years and had about 4in's of pine straw covering it. It had a 351 H.O. Windsor & a 4Bl Holley, ordered special from the Danville Ford plant. After about 2weeks, she was a gleaming beauty. That roared like a beast out of its custom dual exhaust I installed. With 45° turnouts in front of its rear wheels. Still kicking my own ass till this day for selling it.

Rock Hudson always drove a Black Lincoln Sedan in McMillian and wife, he drove one just like this one. He also drove a dark blue 1975 Cadillac Fleetwood in on of his movies....

Mechanix Illustrated's Tom McCahill washed his hands of the Imperial in 1967, considering it just a tarted-up New Yorker. I dunno. It was certainly different from preceding models, but still a magnificent car.

A very lovely car. Always thought 1967 Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge and Imperials ( the full sized cars) we're at their very best styling in 1967. 1968 was also nice, but not quite as attractive IMHO.

Clean, but a strip down. No power equipment, first, I see no cornering lights, no arm rest, no passenger side mirror. I'm a Buick expert. Worked for then after I diagnosed my own car which ran to 300.000 miles with only trans, aamco and heads. Frame had been welded, finally rusted. We used to laugh at these strip downs. Take a look at my 225 Custom. Pretty and VERY FAST!! On dem HoTT Buick Boyz.💯🔥
