We got to the quarter finals in 86’ castleford came to Central Park and beat us, I remember as a kid trudging home heartbroken, thinking it was the end of the world, then watching the final a few weeks later and seeing j sandy , it was great, great for r league . as good a player as Dorahy was, excellent in fact, he should never have been kicking, Fairbairn was a far better kicker and could kick from the touchline for fun, Dorahy cost us a lot from misses from there. But what a team we has, followed them home and away, today I don't watch any games, stopped years ago when they started to ruin the game with rule changes, it's not the game it used to be, If I was young now I would never play the game and I loved it when I played, it was my life, now? forget it.
