I remember getting emails in 2016 from Microsoft telling me they are ending support and updates soon for the xbox 360. They told me "you rode your 360 into the sunset, but it's time to let go" or something to that effect. I remember the riding into the sunset part for sure. Then they proceed to license games for 2 more years. I never bought an xbox 1. I just wanted to play my 360 games then got a PS4, played it for the last time in 2020 and been on PC games since then. Honestly, consoles feel kinda dead and pointless now.

It's interesting how games visually improve towards the end of a console's life compared to the beginning. That Tony Hawk game for the N64 looks as if it was an early 6th gen game or even the 3DS for a low budget. They understand the maximum capabilities of the hardware.

In America the last Game Boy Color game was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. High key one of my favorite GBC games. It's JRPG style and follows the book more closely than the movie, I found and appreciated over the PS2 version. Map was massive too with a lot of secrets.
