I'm looking forward to follow up video(s) reporting on how the set up worked for you. Were things added? How long will the blades and battery last? I have always looked at the small Knipex pliers and thought, "Those jaws are too big for the leverage the handles can provide." I would love to know if it's true. How often did you use the bottle opener? Truth be told you could use the pliers as a bottle opener.
@firemedcop4 ай бұрын
@@scorpionregent648 hey there thanks for watching. Well there are many variables, it depends on how much you use your razor knife. If you’re using it constantly to open boxes, it’s going to dull quickly. I use it once in a blue moon, a couple boxes here and there so last pretty long for me. As far as the flashlight, that battery has been in there for over a year it actually lasts a pretty long time and no, I really don’t use the bottle opener.🤓

I just bought the all metal SwissTech 11 in 1 Folding Multitool that is half the size of the Fastback and only cost me $13.50. It also has a saw, scissors and awl that the Fastback lacks. The Knipex Cobra is amazing and I refer the 5" version.

This is NOT an EDC, it's more like camping content in your backpack. An EDC is more like something you would use at your office (9 hours a day) that could be used in case of an emergency or regularly. For your commute home (by car) items should be used in case the car breaks down or you need something to defend yourself in case you are in a dangerous area (GUn, magazines. baton, etc). If you commute by public transportation I would not carry a Kindle, tablet, or book since being distracted can be dangerous, and being alert or aware of your surroundings is a must.

The orange interior from the xpac looks so good, but I dont want the xpac material. I prefer the look and feel of the aeroflux, but the blue interior is an eyesore. I'm using a Galaxy Tab S9+ with a case that doesn't leave me with a lot of options in terms of crossbody sling bags. What's your take on the xpac material?

The RFID blocking material sounds great until you realize how hard it is to actually scan a credit card. Also, it means if you do use contactless cards, you have to get the card out every time you want to use it. Not great if you're in a hurry or if you only have one hand free.

Older I get, the less I lug around in my pockets...so many EDC fans end up being nothing but a Sherpa & rarely actually use most of the stuff they carry. These days keys, wallet, phone, wristwatch, Swiss Army Tinker & Spyderco Delica knives, pistol, mini flashlight, & bandanna meet my daily needs... Everything else I can easily get from my car ... Retired L.E.O. here also & one of the nicest things about retirement is NOT having to carry so much stuff, LOL ..
