Its easy to throw out a number like this... but is it true? How do we know that this number is 10 septillion and not 9... or way less. And how can we trust the outcome. I am not doubting anything, just asking for a friend.

I bet it still stalls out when I try to do permutation calculations of polygons doubtful it can even do D12 and I'm 100% it can't calculate permutations of data with two two dimensional shapes and a third dimension connecting them. doubtful.

Based on the current track records of U.S. tech companies and the growing influence of technology on our political systems, I foresee a troubling and uncertain future.

Google … you have permanently lost my trust. The whole data thing … hopefully you’ll get charged with crimes against humanity … and be forced to pay every individual you used as a guinea pig for your bank account … a lifelong monthly fee. And a high one at that. I know, it’s frustrating, but the only way you will learn the lesson coming to you is through your bank account. Cuz you lost out on your humanity in the deal you made with me, the anti-Christ. Dig deep to understand that metaphor. Dig deep. I know you’ll need to use your malfunctioning AI tools to dig deep … hint: no answers await for you there. Judgement has been called!

And this is supposed to impress me? Have me quaking in my boots and bowing down to your superiority? FAIL. Attaching the word quantum to your bread and butter computing is gimmicky at best. … I call bluff on WILLOW. You know what Marley/Tosh said, “you can fool some people sometime but you can’t fool all the people all the time…” I ain’t falling for your latest silly technological half assed magic show presentation.

Google is DESPERATE right now. Quantum and AI chip?! Makes zero sense. Breakthrough chip with 105 (logical) qubits?! IBM doubles that. Google is losing search and ad customers very quickly right now, and they are clinging on by claiming a Breakthrough in quantum computing. It's not the number of LOGICAL qubits that matters. It's the density of PHYSICAL qubits that is the challenge. It's called decoherence. But, I'm SURE that won't even be mentioned here.

To my understanding the result of a quantum calculation is ambiguous because quantum states are not binary (= either...or) but three fold as well and you don't know beforehand what to expect. In "...blog.google/technology/research/google-willow-quantum-chip/" it says among other things: "...Typically the more qubits you use, the more errors will occur, and the system becomes classical. Today in Nature, we published results showing that the more qubits we use in Willow, the more we reduce errors, and the more quantum the system becomes. ..." Well, that's Google itself presenting its wonderfull accomplishment. I don't understand quantum computing but I understand English. Now: "Typically the more qubits you use, the more errors will occur, and the system becomes classical." Translated to everyday English I understand: "Qubits are our workers. Who works makes mistakes. The more workers you have the more mistakes you'll find. That's classical." and in the next sentence it goes on to "Today in Nature, we published results showing that the more qubits we use in Willow, the more we reduce errors, and the more quantum the system becomes." First sentence literally boiles down to "...the more qubits you use, the more errors will occur", next sentence boiles down to "...the more qubits we use in Willow, the more we reduce errors...". That may be quantum science but we need someone who explaines that logically. Maybe the additional qubits involved are quality control as part of the workforce. My idea: Make the same calculation 1,000 times, compare the results and if you're not confident in 1,000 identical answers start with a billion. With the proposed speed of this computer chip that shouldn't be a problem and if there's no logical explanation Google spilled the beans and Willows is a hoax to improve Googles stock rating.
