There is a button on the trunk lift door. To the far right of the camera location that rectangle flush button push and hold for 2 or 3 seconds. Then the trunk lid will click then you can just pull up on the lid.

4.7 is the Landcruiser J100 engine. This Landcruisers are the only cars withstanding so hard road on the prairies. This engine was designed before tundra was invented.

You do understand that this car is a luxury car right? You cannot compare this car to a sports car. That is not what it was built for.

Used to drive this exact model and compared to other cars in its class (e.g. corolla, cruze, elantra) you sit very low in the seat. Steering wheel is small with a quick ratio and has a thicker rim which is definitely sporty. By virtue of its low seating position and overall low stance, the car has minimal body roll through the corners, but its ride quality suffers as a result. The throttle pedal is floor mounted, giving the driver finer and more agile modulation. The digital speedometer and centralized tach do contribute to a sense of involvement absent from cars in its segment. Overall, this generation of Honda Civic offers a surprisingly enthusiast-oriented experience in the midst of a market that caters to those who view driving as a chore.

My 2013 RDX back hatch locks at various times. It will not unlock with key fob. I never know when it’s going to lock, or unlock for that matter. It’s always a toss up.

I hate how harsh he handles and how he slams everything in the car, then he complains that you can't just slam the trunk. also, there's a button underneath to open the trunk.

Also, just to note. The differing modes are not easy, moderate and hard core. Grass/graval/snow basicall equates to - slippy as hell and the car adjusts traction for that. Mud and ruts adjusts traction for sticky boggy situations. And sand for where you can sink and need momentum. Where you were driving you actually did not need to change from every day mode. The Freelander 2 would have been fine.

Distinct lack of information and no technical info at all. Switching on Hill Descent doesn’t mean “you’re good” you also have to keep your feet off the brake and accelerator. This video is actually a waste of web space.

Fuck the haters and old farts! I own a 2004 LS430 ML. Your review was good man. Yeah it’s not sporty but it is quick and handles good considering the size. Overall a great well built car. Good review, good perspective.

For all you guys hating on the 4.7 saying its weak and small, take into consideration that this engine puts out alot more power than you would expect for its size. Compare it to a 4.6 f150 of this year for example. They are basically the same size motor and the tundra puts out WAY more power than the 4.6. No the 4.7 isnt the biggest v8 around. It is a small v8. Small but strong and can handle anything a 5 liter v8 would handle

The only downside of the 4.7 is that it has a timing belt so that should be changed every 100,000 miles. Other than that the 4.7 is extremely reliable since it’s an iron block engine.

It seems that the dynamics of this car can't hold a candle to my first gen Q45 (I have a 1991, which has the quicker steering ratio/etc). A lot of its design is from the Z32. I was really hoping that with Toyota engineering and another decade and a half(ish) under its belt, the LS430 would be just as tight but with increased quality and comfort. Looks like it's just another cushy boat, ala panther body, for old people and people who don't mind owning a sports car AND a luxury car. Really sucks for those of us who want something comfy and fast with a bit of a fun side, seeing the LS460 was what got me interested in this class of car to begin with when I was 15. Related, I wonder if the air suspension model can be made tight enough not to roll all over the place, and if someone makes a quicker ratio steering setup for this car...? *engages google-fu*
