It seems crazy that here in 'murica I took my drivers test when I turned 18 and haven't been asked to test againt in all the years since.. Not even when I moved overseas and then back to a different state. The DOL just sends me a new license every 4 years with the same photo they took when I moved to WA so many years ago.I kind of regret growing out a thick horseshoe mustache just for the picture that will now be my license photo forever apparently. Also, the flavours of crisps that you have over there!!!

I think its the same process here for the license, you don't have to take a test again, only if your license is international, so here I am 😢 and yes we have the best crisps flavours haha

Curious about the grocery shopping. Food price seems to be lowered over there vs the PNW.

@@kennethawesome even with the USD/GBP conversion and also being outside of London, food is so much cheaper compared to the PNW. Also the price on the shelf is what you pay, VAT already included so there’s no extra surprise at the till.

As long as the weather is on your side, there's nothing quite so refreshing as a walk around the English countryside. Give the Lake District a try if you haven't already, it's stunning.

I used to live in the area and feel like I explore more now than I did when I was there. Funny how that works! I've been waiting to see the orcas from the ferry for years, so happy it finally happened!

After my divorce in Italy I found myself in Copenhagen playing jazz living with my staffie terrier in a camper off grid in a bird sanctuary called valby park in Sydhavn. But sometimes I'd get homesick for the Pacific Northwest and I'd watch Washington State Ferry videos

We needed an EU and UK pet certificate and USDA endorsed paperwork. www.pawsitivepethealthcertificates.com/home handled everything for me though.
