Click bait title. Even if the Braves don't make the playoffs this year they're still setup for the long term to be competitive. The fact that they're pushing not just for a playoff spot but potentially the division despite the injuries they've had is absurd when they've lost their top two WAR players from 2023, who combined for nearly 15 wins worth then. So no, they're not in big trouble even if they don't make the playoffs because this team isn't all in to win just this year.

What’s happening this season shows how magical last year’s regular season was. Everyone had career years. Just the opposite this season, then pile on injuries. Baseball is a very hard sport. What other sport can you fail 7 out of 10 times and still make the Hall of Fame?

As of today 5 game losing streak and already three runs down to the Rockies. But it is not their fault multiple injuries continue to mount they have an outfield of bench players the pitching as well several injuries. Two of last years stars Elder and Fried struggling. They’re bringing up starters who just aren’t ready yet. The Braves willing to part with their minor league stars to rent a pitcher for the rest of the year. So yes this season is a wash

I’m a huge Braves fan, what’s so frustrating to me is that the Braves can get 2 guys on base but the next three batters will either strike out, pop up, or hit into a double play. They can’t string together hits to score runs. They are not hitting as many home runs as last year and they are not scoring as many runs due to they score most runs via the home run. Stop striking out so much and put the ball in play more. Go Braves

In 2021 the Mets were leading the NL East late in the season. A TON of people said it was a mathematical impossibility for the Braves to clinch the title. After a 3 game sweep of the Mets in Atlanta at the end of the season, we won the NL East. Then they said we would be destroyed by the Dodgers in the playoffs. We won it ALL that year! The Braves are use to adversity of all kinds, but NEVER stop fighting! DO NOT EVER count Us out- EVER!

@@jackdavis768 buddy you just combined two seasons into one conversation. We swept the mets in 2022. In 2021 they weren’t ahead by that much. We just went on a run beat them beat the brewers in the nlds beat the dodgers in the nlcs and beat the astros in the world series. 2022 we came back from 10 games back swept the mets at the end of the season and then got detroyed by the phillies.

Yeeaaahhh, this season has been one of the worst I have ever seen. With our pitching issues, the Wild Card is fool’s gold even if they win that round, they’ll get smoked because they lack pitching. That series against Seattle and the LA earlier told me everything about their mindset. This team lost a series to the Chicago White Sox, they played the Nats and were dominated. They lost a series to the last place Reds. They are playing better right now but the injuries, underperforming, and weak mindedness of my Bravos this year is too tough to overcome.

I am excited to watch the Atlanta Braves play in the playoffs this year. I believe that they have what it takes to win the championship. Our starting pitcher, Max Fried, is returning this weekend, which will be a significant improvement to the rotation. Michael Harris may also be returning. He has been a sparkplug for the offense all season. The team is also playing very well at the moment. We have won four out of five games so far, and the offense is finally starting to perform. If we continue to win and the Phillies lose a few games, we can regain the division lead. The New York Mets are a good example of why you can never count out the Braves. The Mets were dominating the first half of the season, but they have been struggling lately. The Braves have a habit of overcoming the odds, and I believe that they will do it again.

They're in the midst of a turnaround, Riley, Ozuna, and D'arnaud have been consistently good. Kelenic has been off and on, Arcia and Olson have been considerably better recently. Whit is a fine temporary replacement. Rey Lo is fine, Max is going to be back this weekend. We also got Soler and gave up basically nothing. Our bullpen and rotation have been phenomenal, I honestly feel great about the season!

I go back and admit I was wrong, I really thought were turning the corner, this team is dead in the water. This is one of the most inconsistent teams I've ever saw. Snitker needs to go and I blame this on AA this time for not doing crap at the deadline. I'm so frustrated with this team, yeah we have numerous injuries but with a organization like the braves they should have great backups to get the job done but no they don't, it sucks but I'll look forward to next year!

The Phillies have begun to slump since before the all-star break. Just like they’ve done in years past they give us fans enough hope and then they snatch it away when we have any form of it. They just lost 3-1 to the Guardians and former Philly Ben Lively. Harper, Schwarber, Turner, Bohm, and Realmuto went 2/7 tonight. The big contracts are not hitting and are beginning to make this team flop. Even if they make the playoffs we all know how this ends. Philly chokes in the playoffs and the cycle continues; Bryce Harper left DC in 2019 and won a WS title from it, I’m believing that he’s cursed us; these are his friends and Dombrowski just to keep him happy was forced to sign them. This team isn’t making it out of the NLDS I’m calling it now.
