i've been more of a 3d artist such as making sculptures, etc, i was never all that good at drawing without references and i really want to get back into drawing. this video has really motivated me ! i'm going to buy a pen for my ipad and i'll definitely use the idea of sketching traditionally and then importing it into the app. thank you so much for these tips 🫶🏼

I am here for a quick tutorial on Ibis Paint. But as someone who was a taught digital art all I can say is if you are truly about art you need to drop MANGA and Anime like a bad habit. It is keeping you from you true potential as an artist. Its like crack for an artist, a cheap way to hide your short comings as an artist. But results you get from horribly wrong proportions get you adulation from others with no artistic skill. A basic run of the mill ARTISAN does only what is possible. A real artist can do the impossible. While at the same time modern art isn’t what I am talking about. Modern Art like Anime is a waste of time. Modern art is for non creatives who try to intellectualize banality. Don’t waste your talent or potential on Anime. Image if you and a great figure drawing with beautiful flowing locks and the grey head of the NPC meme. Now you take every single drawing you do of a human figure and put the grey Wojack face on it. That is Anime in a nutshell. Asians in general are very robotic and not a really creative bunch, this is their culture and has been since before western civilization. They don’t like being the nail that sticks out, that get hammered down into place. Essentially if you know your anime, they are still using the same template of drawing animated people since the release of a Japanese Animated version of Enter the Dragon in the 1970’s.
