Hi. Just finished my pod. Excellent full tutorial, from start to finish. Easy to follow and lots of fun to make. Colours are endless. Just needs a mini bean bag cushion for those cool nights. Thank you for sharing. I also recommend this tutorial. Happy Crafting 😀💜🙏

Is there a tutorial for the front decorated part of the boot?
@KayoEllАй бұрын
I am so frustrated... what weight is this yarn? On Ravelry, Red Heart Super Saver is suggested. That's an Aran weight (#4) and there is no way this is #4. I've seen one location that recommends a 1.5 mm hook, which would suggest lace (#0). Here you say to use a 3.5 mm hook, which suggests fine (#2), which is what this looks like to me. I'm befuddled.
@HodgePodgeCrochetАй бұрын
@@KayoEll the beauty of these eyes is that you can use any weight and hook combo you want. Thinner yarn/smaller hook = small eye. Thicker yarn/bigger hook = bigger eye. Play around with it and see what you get!

Can I ask what size toddler shoe this is?
@HodgePodgeCrochet12 күн бұрын
Finished shoe will measure approximately 6 inches in length which loosely translates to a fit between a child’s size 6 - 8.5 (US measurements)

How big do these turn out to be? It's hard to tell in the video.
@HodgePodgeCrochet3 ай бұрын
It depends on the yarn and hook you use but, on average, they're about an inch across.
@darlatube4 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for this tutorial! It was very well done and your instructions were easy to follow. I found many others but not in English and auto translate on KZbin is really bad. Some of the translations were hilarious but totally off base. I think I used the same type of yarn you use here as well as a metal hoop, 10", however, I didn't find your video until way too late. I had to wing it through most of the process and mine ended up being huge. That happened to be ok since I have a 19 pound boy who is the only one who liked it well enough to stay inside for a while. 2 or 3 of the others tried it out, but we're not impressed. I am happy to have finally found your video so that now I can make a proper one with the correct number of stitches and rows. Mine ended up not only being very big, but I had trouble closing it as I have never done anything like this before with no pattern. I plan to look for some yarn like the Russian girls were using, but haven't seen any in my searches. It looked a lot like fine nylon rope. Have you ever seen such material? It seemed to hold the shape very well so I think it must be stiffer. Anyway, thanks again for the great tutorial. And yes, I subscribed 😊 and liked and saved it to my crafts playlist. Hope your day is wonderful! Pet your kitty for me 🤩

On rounds 8-25 do you have to chain one for each new round or just keep working around in the circle
@HodgePodgeCrochet5 ай бұрын
You can do either! If you're comfortable working in continuous rounds than do that. If not, ch 1 and work that way.

This was a cool tutorial, but I had to end the video before the hat was done because of that repetitive music playing over and over and over. It was hurting my brain! That same song over and over for almost 42 minutes, made this video torture for me to watch.

I would start from rnd 5 and work the pattern from there. :) Do one increase rnd and then work the pattern up until you hit that 12 inch mark and then do the decreases.
