Did Ellie got full half Japanese siblings from Suki and you like you said before you and Tsuki be having another or more kids? Never heard or got any reply from you for 2 years now!

Whether or not you continue posting in the future, it has been incredible to watch your journey . You’ve led such a unique, interesting life - and through all the ups and downs, having a career, all the life changes - you’ve always been such an amazing mother. It’s truly inspiring

I grow up with watching your videos , I was in highschool. Now I’m engaged and soon I’ll be a mother. I remember from the beginning of your channel. I was learning English. Seeing you is like seeing a family member, sometimes I remember you in my daily life and come back to check up if you upload anything

I keep coming back to your channel because your resilience inspires me, man. I had a rough childhood and seeing you make a pretty good try at it, even after some times I'm sure were hard.

I miss your day in the life videos from when Ellie was really small. They use to motivate me and now that I have a baby, I wish I could watch them again 😭 I get so lonely and depressed being a stay home mom sometimes. Those videos gave me comfort and encouragement.

I'm so happy to see you and your family doing well. Happy belated birthday to Ellie! I enjoyed watching your videos from Japan when Ellie was a baby. I have a daughter the same age. Interestingly, she has been begging me for guinea pigs, and I couldn't help but notice the cute guinea pig on Ellie. Has the guinea pig been easy to take care of? Thank you for your update.

I went through a period of time when I was chronically ill. It was my dream to live somewhere overseas, and I fell in love with watching videos of people living overseas. That's how I discovered your channel. I'm doing better now, and I'm glad you're doing well too. Thanks for creating this channel.

Hannah, I've been watching your videos since Ellie was a baby. I'm glad you're doing well! I most say though, it is really disappointing that you're the one that has to work and your husband isn't working but enjoying the children. I think it must be hard for a woman. I worked, got a bba, and worked again but when I get married and have kids, I want to be the stay at home mom, it's only natural. I know you probably won't like this comment but I think your "man" needs to man up and be a provider, not the woman.
@HannahInJapana2 жыл бұрын
Each to their own. I’m so happy my husband is willing to help raise the kids. I stayed home Before and it is Hard! I get to peruse my career which financially makes the most sense. Even if he did “man up” we wouldn’t be as financially well off. The cost of daycare in the US isn’t worth it for a stranger to raise my kids. If I wanted to remain in a traditional gender role, I would have stayed in Japan ;) We have a very healthy respect for each other and our roles in our family.

Oh Ellie! Even more grown up and acting! Ok so the babies don't look alike, but I can't tell which one looks like you and which one like (ohoh name....Nate?)(sorry). Who do you both think they look like?
@HannahInJapana2 жыл бұрын
Yeah Ellie is almost as tall as me and wayyy smarter than me at 11. She is very compassionate and kind. Aila has Nate’s exact same personality as a child (according to what he and his parents have told me) but she looks a lot like me at that age. Jack, I think looks a lot like Nate as a baby but has my exact same personality as a baby. He is very happy and chill. Aila …. has good leadership skills.

It's so wonderful to see you again. The baby's hair! Too great! Now to watch the rest. I've been a huge fan for SO many years...from the start really. I just love you and your family. I'm just a 62 year old expat in DK. A woman with pure white hair. I wish half the people on the planet were as kind and gentle as you are...heck I'M not even as good of a person as you are and I've been working on it all my life lol.

She’s so giant now you probably don’t recognize her but she is in several of the clips. She is in the second to last clip holding the Guinea pig, she is in the play in the yellow dress, she is in the thumbnail in the pink bucket hat as we sing her happy birthday. (Aila and Jack call her “Sasa” so that’s why we say happy birthday “Sasa”). She is the one swimming in the pool with her sister. Obviously she is a big tween now so spending a lot of time in after school activities and with friends etc.

@HannahInJapana2 жыл бұрын
@@SakuraSpring she hasn’t yet, sadly. In April of 2020 we had a visit planned with her dad and it got cancelled. Her Japanese passport expired and I wasn’t able to update it due to not having a copy of her Japanese family registry. Recently I was able to procure it and have renewed both passports but we don’t have any solid plans in place yet. But soon for sure.
