Wow, It worked! This had me stumped for like 2 hours. Even had the volt meter out. I have a gas forced air and was only using 2 wires (R W) initially for my original thermostat and didn't even know I had a common wire tucked back.at first (still connected on the furnace side). It blows my mind that WYZE didn't say anything about this anywhere in the very lacking installation manual provided (actually only a Quick Start Guide) or in the linked installation video. Other sources state clearly that the Rh is for heat and Rc is for cooling. So why would you hook it up "wrong" with out knowing. I hope you do better WYZE. If WYZE has this stated somewhere, It certainly isnt easy to find. End Rant

The reservation numbers are randomized and do not indicate your "place" in line. I vaugly remember that Tesla got something like 100,000 reservations in the first day or two, so when you made your reservation is the only very rough indicator of where you might be in the queue. It also appears the first CTs are going to Texas and California customers, likely due to getting those state approvals first. Hopefully only be 30-60 days before they are allowed to sell them into other states.

I’m not a fan of the style but this “joke” of a truck could at least take the impact of a dinky mountain bike hitting it, where other modern trucks would be dented. The idea is awesome, most the new trucks crumple like soda cans. This, if you ever did manage to dent it, could easily have a flat piece of steel welded on. There’s so many ridiculous curves and contours with weak and rusting materials on almost every other new truck out there.

And you can roll that back cover up like a tonneau cover, so yes you can fit a bike in the bed

I did that and still I not powering. I checked with a volt meter and I'm getting 27v. I don't have the c wire and I hooked up the other round divice at the furnace to take care of the c wire but still not powering up. My furnace is old and doesn't have a circuit board. It has a transformer can you help me?

You need to find a 24v common and tap into it, that'll be your "c" wire

I just have the basic heat mercury switch only using two wires red and white I did buy a 24 V adapter could you explain the four terminals I need to connect to thank you sir

You need c-wire adapter that white wire C connect to blue or brown wire in HVAC. And green wire connect into C on plate. That it and no issues

To discover this unique wiring difference, I had to call Wyze support three times before finally having someone able to know the prior wire connection. Otherwise, thermostat works well with one peculiarity that concerns me. The fan will come for approximately 2-3 seconds then shuts off, after a pause of about 30 seconds the furnace and fan start and run normally.
