Ronny Jordan was the first person to hear my music, when even I hadn't had the courage to show it to the world. He gave me the push I needed, and he was a guide for me. I owe you a lot, and I can never be thankful enough for his help. My name comes from one of his recordings (aftermath). I listened to it daily as I fantasized about one day being able to compose similar music. But I never imagined that I would have the honor of having Ronny as my first listener. Many of my songs are highly influenced by his music and his style. It is my small tribute to one of the greatest. Thank you Ronnie. I hope you can continue listening to my music, as I continue listening to your albums today. But sadly, I can no longer have your advices and support. Jesus, Mr. Jordan passed away a year after this interview. I'm so sorry. I'm 20+ years late, but something finally led me to the gem that I've been searching for, _After Hours._ This is bittersweet for me. Glad I found the tune, but I'm upset that he's passed. I just came to say thank you one hundred times. _After Hours_ is a tune that I'd hear on the radio coming home from school. Never knew the name because it had no vocals. I've never heard of Mr. Jordan until now. I'm on cloud 9 right now. Again, thank you. R.I.P. Mr. Jordan. Let me catch up on _After Hours_ and then I'll check for the rest of yo' music later on...
