Why in wales is b&m closing down for its a really affordable store

The only new things in Aldi and Lidl for that matter are more self checkouts! I simply won't use either of them even if they are cheaper. The customer has now become an inconvenience to them! Bring back more manned checkouts! Simple!

Fair enough but imagine trying to get some of that stuff through a self checkout. I wont use Aldi or Lidl again with Thier self checkouts. Will use my local shop!

I've to laugh, the only thing that's new in Aldi is more self checkouts and less manned tills! I've started shopping elsewhere, I simply can't stand (quite literally)in a long queue for 1 manned checkout! Boycott them!!!

Interesting - that's like all the special buys that they have done over the last few months. My local ALDI has mostly Christmas stuff and a very limited selection of DIY things. The Luton store must be huge! That's one thing I'd like to know - which are the largest ALDI stores near me in N Yorkshire (I assume largest would have more tools etc). Thanks for the video.

Our two Lidl stores do not hold half of this stock of tools. You see something advertised and go to look for it only to find it is not stocked.

Beware of some electric blankets because they are dangerous. I returned some to lidl last year because their default settings were Hi instead of off so in a power cut and reset they went to maximum setting which could kill an elderly or disabled person or child.
