Morgan Freeman is awesome, but he seems out of place here as an old man. Might have been better to use a very young Morgan Freeman. With your chosen cast so far; John Houston, or perhaps Orson Wells would have been a more fitting DM here in my humble opinion, but that ship has sailed. Though you could fit them in as NPCs somewhere, these guys haven't made any movies since they died for some reason. But that can no longer stop them, and they could use the exposure. Orson Wells would make a great Strahd, or even the local priest of Barovia. The man had range. He also had girth. It would probably be funnier if he was Strahd. John Houston would make a great Gandalf, but that's been done, and Gandalf isn't even in this module. Even as a young man John Houston looked a little old to be Strahd here, maybe a good choice for Von Richten. The man was a legend. Just not as big a legend as Orson. Punn intended. Later in life, Orson had more girth than some planets. Wait... who's kidding who? Bela Lugosi would be great as Strahd. He even played that guy with the fangs from that story that Strahd is based on, so he has the experience. He also needs the exposure as he hasn't made a movie since he died either. Allot of that going around apparently. Also... Madame Eva could only be Maria Ouspenskaya, and Lon Chaney Jr could be every werewolf in the story, just as John Wayne could play the entire Barovian army, if Barovia had an army. A casting out takes and blooper reel would be hilarious. Just a suggestion. Also, JFK sounds more like his cousin Ralph in this video than himself. And I'm not even sure if he had a cousin named Ralph. Just sayin'. You have a great concept here, run with it. I look forward to seeing where this one goes.

Was wondering when this would return! As someone who's run Curse of Strahd for my group before, I'm interested to see how this goes. And just as a note, wouldn't it make more sense if Rekhar was a grave domain cleric rather than order, given how Kelemvor is the the god of the dead?

An entire campaign without Obama/Biden/Trump is a big risk creatively. It will be interesting to see what party dynamics emerge from these presidents, rather than the usual "Trump is an asshole, Biden is senile, Obama is the normal one."
