Central heat is Heat Pump. If outdoor temperature drop belows 32 F the emergency 10K heating coil at Heat Pump sometime would come on a few minutes, hopefully this little oil filled heater would help reduced the frequent or delay Emergency heat timing.
@p.b.78615 күн бұрын
You are correct. 400 watts oil filled is very hard to find. I bought one 3-4 years ago for emergency use. Then after I installed 650watt solar panel system, I bought another one to use as supplement heating In my kitchen. My main central heating is heating, hopefully it would help cut my heating bill somewhat.

Some t-lites purchased thru Amazon have candle wicks that fall over after 2 hours. Always wise to research the feedback/reviews from previous shoppers! Some tea lights can burn 5 hours. Some may only burn for two. Great post. Thank You.

Do the fans work in a power outage?
@byronmorris159413 күн бұрын
. It does not require batteries or electricity! The fan is entirely powered by the radiant heat of your wood stove by converting it to electricity. A wood stove burn indicator is included, allowing visibility to ensure you're burning efficiently and not accumulating dangerous creosote needlessly. Place on top of your woodstove to warm your room up to 40% faster.

@byronmorris159414 күн бұрын
Some heat is better than no heat. Making five heaters and placing them in a closed area is better. I am just showing you how energy can create heat from some small power bank, which can keep you warm when there is no heat. The problem is that you have to convert to a low energy usage.

Out of 13+ K2's I have and tried to get to work, at least 5 have failed to power up either the 12Vdc or 20Vdc, and the mfg does not supply any spare parts, and no schematics have been made available. A couple would turn on randomly and run down the battery. One battery was run down so far that it would not recharge, and likely had been cycled very few times. In summary, the front end power distribution 12Vdc and 20Vdc are not reliable.

I had had me for many years. I found them so expensive when they were popular. I brought a lot of used ones that they had rebuilt before they stopped using them. I bought 15 of them, and they still work brand new today. I use 5 of them to power air purifiers on the 20-volt side.

@@byronmorris1594 Thanks for your reply. A Google search found the mfg web page, and selling these at something like $80 ea, but sold out. That seemed curious-- maybe shipping as hazmat exceeding the UN3480 restrictions made the shipping too costly? Rebuilt? -The Li+ cells have a fully charged Voltage, but the 20V port will be 16V while the 12V is 12V. A different K2 20V port is 20V, bu the 12V is 3V. My guess is a board component has failed, but all the RTV drooled over the components and small component size make sourcing the problem ...a problem. Probably smarter to buy new ones if a reasonable price. Many of the 4.5mm adapters for 20V have failed, and apparently there is a chip embedded in the adapter that fails I think I have found a supplier for the Dell adapter at $8 ea.

I got this by luck. I had it for five years and didn't use it, so I didn't realize its value until later. A doctor got it first, and when he left his wife, she sold it to me. I never cared until I started playing games on it and found that it played games fast, so I later installed more names on it. Later, I found out why she wanted $1800, and she told me. Her husband paid $7200 for it. I don't know what I am doing with it.

@@byronmorris1594 That doesn't answer my exact question though. You're holding the device in your hands as we speak, you could just plug in some similar wall light around that wattage and save me the hassle of having to send the device back in case it doesn't work, that's the point of making these videos to begin with.

I tried cooking with candles in a Coleman stove top aluminum oven (apart from stove, on a set of slate tiles on bricks). I baked muffins, which worked. While prepping the next baking item, the melted candle wax, still in the 9 metal cups, burst into flame, engulfing the oven, spewing black smoke and flames! Took some courage and quick thinking to open the oven and place a right sized pan on top to finally extinguish! It had seemed to be going so well, but we almost burned down our house! Very dramatic and scary!

WHat temperature heat wise does it put out?
@byronmorris1594Ай бұрын
It depends on the area size and temperature 110. The area you want to warm up should be prepared before the temperature drops. It is to help with dampness, not to keep warm. If done correctly, you will see a small area of 20-degree differences. The warmer you want, the more heaters you need.
