Because USA is more 1st world than Germany. They have more companies, bigger, with more revenue.....so workers can ask for more money. Plus they even have less taxes than Europe. The idea that US workers work more than other countries is a lie. Everybody works more or less the same.

one thing that people never factor in is the high taxes in US for property . Would you want to pay more in taxes for property or into an universal health system ?!

Difference between the poverty rate in EU vs US let's talk about that!!
@billyhadisubrata266927 күн бұрын
US is run based on capitalism, as simple as that. It is very much noticeable in few big techs market cap already in trillions market cap whereas Europe not one single company hit trillion dollar market cap. Thats why US financially is more superior than Europe and it will stay that way.

European countries' higher taxes on the wealthy safeguard social stability and fund critical services, directly combating the inequality and societal decay rampant in the U.S. The U.S.'s low tax rates for high earners fuel greed, cripple public infrastructure, and exacerbate economic disparity, revealing a blatant disregard for social responsibility and long-term national well-being.

Do you think its really combating inequality or preveting lower and middle class to get rich? Because 'rich' people will always find ways how to avoid taxes through lobbying and so on

The gap grows a bit smaller when you take health insurance, social security, daycare and education into account.

The average income is actually quite low compared to the us, but you also have way smaller living costs and stuff like free healtcare, paid parenting time after and before birth, unlimited sick days, 20 legally required vacation days that are paid etc... (Comes with more taxes though)

Can I ask what’s the age limit of schools in Austria? I’m planning to study abroad after I graduate senior high. I’m from third world country which is The Philippines and I really want to study abroad (we’re not rich so I need scholarships or cheap schools) and can I do a part time job? Thank you!
@yurakoreev5 ай бұрын
Hey, that's a good question! As far as I know there's no age limit for studying in Austria. Yes, you can work part-time here (20 hours/week)

@@yurakoreev Thank you so much! Will try applying after senior high (which takes 1-2 years) and hopefully I can make my dream to study abroad 🇦🇹
