This ministry is a Blessing! The Lord Jesus Christ Saves... Ephesians 2:8-10 (KJV) 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

I interpret it a different way. I see 'justified by works' as meaning justified by works alone and when he shows Abraham had an amount of righteousness accounted he proved it was not by works alone but by grace. He then went on to show that the promise given to Abraham cannot be fulfilled by the Mosaic Law and Christianity is a potential fulfillment of it because it justifies by grace and justifies all nations but Mosaic Law does neither of those things, those under the Law who obeyed (2;13) were justified not by the deeds of the law but by forgiveness because all have sinned (3;23). It is definitely a tricky passage. Romans 2 is more simple.
