I would like to see Mezco take another crack at Shazam. It was definitely a standout upon initial release, but a good amount of time has passed by and Mezco has moved towards more comic accurate figures; I would be all in on a CC Beck Shazam. Also would instant-buy a Mac Raboy Captain Marvel Jr.

I think the C. C. Beck Ver. is their take on Shazam. It's highly unlikely they'll take another shot with it. They're doing another take Captain America, but a different one. The captain Marvel Jr. Ver. is not impossible, they have the body buck and the Batman that matches and if they'll do a Jerry Siegel Superman which needs to sell out, chances are they'll take a shot with others like WW, GL and even Captain Marvel. It's all about sales I guess.

In hand it's much better. Also, the Mezco Ver. Is the Chadwick from winter soldier. In winter soldier he was more buffed. I'm not defending Mezco or anything but for a 5 years old figure it's holding pretty good in terms of accuracy. Figures have evolved a lot in the past year, like really a lot. Check out the new inart DKR 1/12 figures that are coming, they're insane.

Decent Hush version & one of the better looking villains in the line imo (although not close to Scarecrow who easily gets the title). From what I recall from the comics Hush Riddler was sorta menacing looking so wouldda been nice to get an angry/fighting expression face (as this guy looks a bit too nice imo) & some more accessories. The lineup is looking better some with these last 2 villain adds imo. Thanks for the post as always interesting☮

Depends on how much you want the throne. Also, if you have the mafex avengers, yes. I mean depends on how much does the scale matter. He's shorter and slimmer than the Mezco.

Chadwick boseman was not buff. He was lean and lanky and his forearms were little longer than most others. But agree on the thigh gaps, could have been little better.

I paused the movie when Wakanda was invaded and the gloves and claws make them look long, but the actual forearms of the figure seem extremely long. Maybe that's just my eyes playing tricks on me.

It's really just updated paint on the same original mold I was gonna pick it up but I have the original but the original didn't have thigh gaps like this one

Well, there are sellers on ebay that split the figures for parts. If you get lucky you might get the throne, or the head sculpts without breaking the bank. 😁

Surprised by the color schemes here. Sculpt and details look great though. Fondjoy to me will always beat McFarlane and Mezco. But my preference is Mafex lol.

No wonder you like Fondjoy. I think FJ copied the articulation from Mafex and the style in general. They noted and improved what was criticised on Mafex and boom! Such nice figures!

@@ZenReviewZ You're actually on the money! The Superman one appears to be the SHF Superman, but the more Batmen I see from them, it definitely looks inspired by Mafex.

Such a shame about the QC issues on your figure, it's the only one I've seen that's had them. I'll still get one though. I'll probably use a bit of Blu tack to secure the face plate. If I'd got yours from a store I would've returned and exchanged it. I've been getting my figures from eBay, but, the sellers are taking the money and getting the figures from Ali Express and it's been so far so good.

Yeah, I've got mine from Aliexpress and already reviewed it with 5 stars. Then someone told me I've got FondJoyed 😂🤦🏼♂️. Oh well, it's a fine figure nonetheless. I'm glad to have it. I remember 3-4 years back I was wondering what kidney should I sell to get the Mezco Ver. 😂The future is now!!!

I'm wondering in the Hush comics...did Scarecrow not utilize a scythe, a test tube, or a capsule of fear toxin? It's hard to find the answer to something like this on the internet, and I definitely don't have a copy of the story, so who knows. Looks like I'll be giving them one of my BTAS Scarecrow scythes to hold, oh wait, they don't even include gripping hands to hold anything 🤦🏼♂️. Regardless, mine should be here in a day, 'cause no way was I missing out on this absolute gorgeous incarnation of the character. The design is magnifiqué! *Had to ask ChatGPT If Scarecrow used anything in the storyline, and it does say they wielded a scythe, and released the fear toxin in a gas canister and darts. So would've been mighty nice to have gotten several gripping hands and those accessories. Factoring in the higher than normal price, it would've elevated this release from a 5 to a 10.

I had to double-check and indeed he did NOT have anything else but the fear toxin and Huntress's Huntpod/cycle(?) which would have been a fantastic accessory that would have completed Huntress. The price would probably have been double, but I bet it would have sold out.

_Really???_ Nothing against you, that's just really hard to believe. But I'm looking at it like how expensive and bare-boned this release is. Out of my large collection of Mafex comic figures I've amassed over the years, this is the weakest release in regards to those two things. But if it's your most anticipated because scarecrow is your favourite character, then absolutely I understand.

Man, I just can't think of who the face reminds me of. Probably some super random character off something that no one remembers. Someone mentioned they look like a middle-aged blond haired Butt-Head...but blond haired Adam Driver works too 👌🏻.

I concur with Zen, but I'll add in Mafex produces by far the best 6/7" scaled comic figures. Out of all I own, the only ones that have any competition would be Venom and Thor, and that's due to their size.

I think if you had a separate shelf for the JM line (Red Son and DKR Batman and Joker) they don’t look too bad but put them next to other 1/12’s they just look weird - too small and squat. And they don’t seem to be learning anything with each release. The Muff Toys are now the benchmark and the CHAOS DKR Superman and Batman look awesome from the promos. If you're not a purist, change the neck peg on the McFarlane BvS Batman. With a shorter neck peg, it will look way better, the same goes for Knighmare Batman that uses the same head sculpt and the same neck peg that throws off the look a lot.

No idea. If you're referring to the Messing Around part, I've added some effects. If you refer to the closer look part, that's the genuine colour without any tamper. But the colour is my least problem since the Cape is trash.

😕I've got it like this sealed. As I've said, I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt, since there were no issues before.. It's really disappointing. There's no point in a low price if you're getting messed up figures so you need to buy 2 just to make one as it supposed to be...

I think a nylon strap will solve the missing belt issue. As you have the McFarlane version, you can clearly see how better proportioned the FondJoy is. Maybe you can get a replacement, I would let it pass and change the cape and find some strap to replace the one missing belt.
