I AM THE RIGHTEOUS HAND OF GOD AND I AM THE DEVIL THAT YOU FORGOT **headbangs until whiplash**

i love cowboy playlists, so heres a little snippet of the cowboy story im writing :) The sun was setting below the mountains of the Mahtopa. The birds quietly chirped, hopping around in the great oak trees surrounding the river. The tapping of horse hooves against dirt followed, a woman wearing a neat corset and a bonnet riding the snow white Arabian horse. She seemed like she could never have hurt a fly. Locks of ginger hair cascaded down her back, a gentle smile on her face. A small satchel was sat on her shoulder, full of goods from the local general store. She had been gone all day- Buying sugar and other sweet things for her daughter's birthday party. Her 8th birthday party. She thought about what it would be like at her home when she returned. Her pudgy son running out to greet her, asking if she got him anything, too. Her husband leaning against the pillar of their house with that smirk he always had on his face. Her daughter rushing up to her with a more than happy voice, shouting, "Mother!" They'd go inside of their house, and her daughter would open her presents and ask her to put her new necklace on. A voice cut through her daydream. "Sydney!" A man's voice. She turned over, looking at her neighbor. He was struggling to lift a piece of lumber. His back was getting bad, he was somewhere in his 60s. "You need help with hauling the wood, Jones?" Sydney hopped off of her horse, walking over to assist. Jones nodded, digging his feet into the dirt as he tried to lift. She lifted it, positioning it onto her shoulder and walking to the woodpile, setting it down neatly with the rest of the wood. Jones looked at her, smiling as he sighed gratefully. "Thank you, Mrs Sigil.. You best be getting home now. Tell your husband I said he can come over anytime." He tipped his hat at her, walking towards his cabin before he stopped. "..Mrs Sigil, I'd be careful on your way back. There were reports of some hoodlums wearing cactus masks running through and raining hell on everyone or anything in their sight." Jones fidgeted with his fingers in a worried manner, not even making eye contact with her anymore. She raised a brow, getting back onto her horse. "I'll be careful, Jones." Sydney reassured, kicking her horse's side gently. "You take care now. Don't keel over on us." She joked, riding off. The smell of smoke filled her nostrils as she got closer and closer to her domicile. It wasn't warm enough for a campfire at their house.. She tugged on the reins of her horse, stopping as she looked at the road. Fresh horseshoe tracks.. Leading towards her family's house. Her eyes widened, seeing smoke in the air rising above the treeline. Her horse lifted its heels carefully, before she tugged the reins again, the horse going rushing forward, sensing her worry. She came into sight of her house, but she wished she didn't. Oh, god, how she wished she didn't. Her home, it was in flames. The sound of gunshots filled the air. The birds no longer chirped, her horse getting antsy seeing the flames. Her husband, her kids- Where were they? She looked around, before being knocked off of her horse by a larger man. A sombrero was placed atop his head, a guitar on his back. A gun was aimed at her face, ready to shoot. He started speaking in spanish to her, but she didn't understand. All she could think about was who the hell did this. Who took away her perfect life, everything. Her satchel was ripped away, the leather tearing as she tried to grab it back, failing as a fist connected to her temple. She grunted in pain, her vision dazed. She saw the rest of her house collapsing under its weight.. She heard her son scream. The man in the sombrero punched her again, harder and harder. She tried to shove him off, but he quickly overpowered her. She slowly felt herself drifting out of consciousness, the last thing in her sight was that stupid man, his curly black hair against his face. "Sorry, senora." He muttered, before she finally went unconscious. Sydney woke up hours later, her house in charred ruins. Her clothes were ripped as she stood up, limping to her house. She felt like she was going to puke right then and there. The ashes crunched below her feet as she groaned in pain. A severely burnt chest was left on its side, its contents spilling out as she crouched down, picking them up. A colt action revolver, her father's hat, a jacket, and some jeans. Sydney put the hat on, reaching for the revolver. She expected it to still be burning hot, but it wasn't. She slipped into her new attire, standing up. Those snakes would pay for what they did. They'd feel the pain she felt, ten times over. She'd break them down to where they felt like nothing, watch them get hung from the gallows. And the only thing they'd see before they went into the Devil's hands? Her. Sharpshooter Sydney Sigil. The Bounty Hunter who showed no mercy. :3

That's not how POV works 🤦♂
@BlueCollarGal9 ай бұрын
It actually is. Beause a "Playlist POV" is music that would play during whatever the POV is. If that makes sense
@thetej10989 ай бұрын
@@BlueCollarGal "if that makes sense" the very fact that you're having to apply this filter to explain your point... Pov stands for "point of view". That right there is where this stopped making sense. Correct "point of view" would show you the point of view of some living being who is viewing from that particular "point of view". Kind of how you view reality. Hands, the rest of your body etc. And no, even "second person pov" or "third person pov" makes no sense cuz those too aren't really pov's lol
@rohnanderson9 ай бұрын
@@thetej1098the music is meant to illustrate the point of view of an imaginary sherif who was sent to establish order. Rather then literally show the POV (hands, etc. as you said) the playlist illustrates the point of view and associated feelings/“vibes” (for lack of a better word) of our imaginary sherif through songs.
@thetej10989 ай бұрын
@@rohnanderson which is a bit of reach to say the least, and that is what invalidates it totally.
