I've been loving this beautiful tune since 1979, but lately hv just recognized clear Phil Everly's harmonizing bcs I became a big fan of Everly Brothers 2-3yrs ago. What a luxurious backing vocal !! Now so enchanted especially by the part 3:30-3:40.

I first heard the Everlys in 1960 and even as a young boy was transported by their music. What affected me most were Phil's exquisite harmonies. What a joy to hear him sing again, especially with JD Southers, one of the all-time great song writers.

Yes he does. Thats something you cant learn. I played in a band back in the 60s and we had a guy that ould do it. Natural Vibrato,, good looking as a mdel, but bound for destruction. Evertime we had practice we had to go downtown to look thru the pool halls to find him. His mom was a pro who got knocked up by a LT from Ft Lee during WW2. So he came by his exotic life fairly. But he had that voice. Anytime we wanted to do A motown or Sam and Dave, or a country tune, there he was. He had a beatup Jaold fender that we kept for him because we never knew where he was living. That song just made me think of old Jeffry, wonder where he is now.
