It’s not Face ID or attentive features. It’s a proximity sensor meant to see how far an object is from the display. You CANNOT turn this off. It is physically incapable of detecting images.

Could be the gps tracker..? I doubt it’s taking that many photos at once. That’s too many flashes going off at one time. Your phone cannot process taking photos that quickly. Try it on your own. Your camera is going to lag. Think we need to do more research before freaking out. They track us other ways so I wouldn’t doubt this, but still seems a bit of a reach imo

The one benefit of that USB outside of what you've probably done is you can use a USB ethernet adapter to do direct ethernet internet no wi-fi needed giving you a solid connection if you want to group a bunch of Google home devices together for one giant speaker.... For example using Plex amp and broadcasting it to all speakers in a group you can have it play on every single speaker in the house without delay without the sequencing without rebooting without loss of signal
