Far to be effortless... the effort is visible in her shoulders and arms, and her entire body proves she struggles to dance at this level. I feel difficult to cope with the shape of her knees and her "en dedans". And her arms are terrible. Everyone is a critic, but as a former dancer I know what this art demands. I find the standards get lower decades after decades.

violettrojo except if that is you in the video on your channel ... I would shut the fuck up about Polina semionova ..... I am what you would call a professional ballet audience ... it is people like Myself who spend thousands of dollars on theatre tickets and I have been watching ballet for the last 36 years ... so piss off with your " I was a dancer " attitude .. If I saw you on stage I would want a refund ... Polina I would literally bankrupt myself to go see dance ... so get over yourself you were crap ... lousy jetes , emotionless arms and very basic pirouettes - and it looked like some high school concert ...

Live her arms, head and torso expressing all as one plus her technique and lovely lines. Just sublime. It all blends beautifully to just convey emotion to the audience so they can get lost in the story telling. Very special indeed.
