Hello Joona.My name is George and I am a big fan of you.I have been sim racing for about 5 years and about 3 months ago I bought my first csl dd.I have some good times on time trial leaderboards (ea wrc) like top 30-40 on rally1 and top 10-20 on rally2.But you guys on top 5 are absolute aliens.Do I need to put more hours into the game?Do I need to change my setup?What is even more frustrating is that I constantly have the same times over and over again max +,- 1 sec.Any advise yould be really appreciated. I also have an i7 7700 and I was afraid that it is a no go. I have 32GB RAM and an super fast RTX 4080 but thought the Game wouldn‘t Start with an i7. So also thanks for Sharing your PC specs👍👍👍👌!!

Noi kotimaan pätkät näyttää kapeilta verrattuna DR:n Jämsään eli meikäpoika on varmaan harjotteluvaiheessa useemman kerran puun ympärillä kyllä. 😂

Have not driven a rally game in 10 years been stuck on refactor 2 Assetto Corsa and iRacing but this time around I am going to enjoy this. Everything I have seen so far looks amazing! Nice driving very smooth 🔥

i dont know enough to judge the tarmac. it has more grip than dr2 which is right, but it also looks too easy, which is wrong. but it could be spot on. i dont know. the gravel however is a massive backwards step into arcade town. the car doesnt fight for grip before biting and then accelerating out of a hairpin, it just slides around it with instant grip/ acceleration. which is laughable.

Finnish stages look not right imo, enviornment-wise, dr1/2 or dirt 3 stages were looking more convincing. I hope they can swap those spruce and pine tree assets for something that looks more lifelike.

As the others have already said, you did some great and ”lifelike” driving. I also found your PC interesting, as it’s from the more attainable end of the scale. I’m using a 2080Ti with 5120x1440 32:9 monitor. So I’d be interested on what kind of FPS you were getting? I’ve found that under 100FPS in sim racing is s bit low for me. So keeping my fingers crossed that a stable 100-120 FPS with reasonable graphics is within reach for my loyal 2080Ti. Luckily I’m also very used to RBR so ”reasonable” for me really means quite modest 😂

Well, you've had quite a bit of practice to know the perfect line for every turn. Impressive drive, especially in Japan with the Rally2. That would at least be a top 10 on the leaderboards in 10 months. Haha

Thank you for the upload. Something doesn't seem right with the handling of the Rally1 cars. They are too stable on turn in and the rear end is far too predictable coming out of corners - especially on gravel. When you look at onboards of the actual WRC, the Rally1 cars are wild animals that require constant correction - almost wrestling - into, during and especially out of corners, and what I've seen so far EASports WRC doesn't really reflect that. Remember, the Rally1 cars are quite primitive handling-wise compared to the 2017-21 WRC+ cars, with the loss of so much front downforce, the absence of a Centre Differential (especially the Electronic Centre Differential the WRC+ cars had, which automatically adjusted the traction depending on the angle of the steering wheel) and far more basic suspension. They are in essence glorified Rally2 cars, but the game makes them appear almost glued to the road. I hope this gets adjusted, and the brutality of the Rally1 cars get to shine through.

I 've noticed that fast drivers, who are on the highest level like you, make the game look more realistic, with appropriate racing lines, smoother steering inputs etc. the physics look very natural here -especially on tarmac there is huge difference compared to Dirt rally 2.0. Awesome driving, dude. Τhe approvement that the game is quite realistic, in contrast with many players who say the opposite, is that Rovanpera felt familiar very quickly with the physics.

Finally! Someone uploaded an EA WRC gameplay on an affordable, not high-end PC! I've had some worries about optimisation and performance because all other youtubers played on expensive high-end systems so those weren't good benchmarks for me. Now my worries are gone! :) Thanks so much! And by the way, nice driving!
