Even thought I am practicing Soo Bahk Do, I have found your videos very informative. I wish you did more of these. I just wish in this video that the audio was a bit louder and more clear.

It's so similar to the Pinan Sono Ichi, but with more sweeps.

Oss Sabahn-nym. Excellent Hyung! I still remember that variation ( though the Masters Price taught it slightly different) ... Now I practice "Peon Ni-Dan" in Koei-Kan Karate Do kata.

Can I ask what kind of taekwondo this is? Because it is not performed in the way of kukkiwon. Or maybe it's because the video is from 2014... idk.

Sorry for the late comment. Just wanted to mention that most taekwondo associations perform forms differently. Although they are all very similar.

We have so many churches here in Ocala. It would be lovely if they provided for people who are in need if they aren’t already. I dropped that’s thumbs up because this is something everyone should be doing.

I do tang soo do I am blue belt white stripe at my place 3rd gup?
@whitewolf415815 жыл бұрын
To my understanding a Blue belt in Tang Soo Do is Cho Dan Bo, or Black Belt Candidate. Are you in World Tang Soo Do?
@Andrea15425 жыл бұрын
@@whitewolf41581 there are now 2 different colors of blue used in ITF. It changed within the last 2 years. We used to have red belts prior to obtaining the midnight blue belt for Dans. Now after green belt you still get your red belt, but instead of 4 stripes on your red belt you get 2, then the new blue belt which gets 2 stripes before testing for dan. It's still the same amount of time and testing, they just changed the color halfway through.
@whitewolf415815 жыл бұрын
So you are International Tang Soo Do Federation. In World TSD, it is Solid Red (2nd Gup) then Red with black solid stripe in the middle (1st Gup) then Blue Belt (Cho Dan Bo) Then you spend 6 months as a Blue belt, and then test for your Dan.

Hi, if you're still getting the comments on this thread, I'd like to ask how the horseback stance punch got introduced in the Tang Soo Do version of this form? It seems quite impossible to do a horseback angled punch, and then a front stance one, but never lift and relocate the front foot. Thanks!
