I see no one else is gonna point this out but do be very carful doing this. With 9v batteries. They get very hot if your not carful because devices rated for that voltage also pull a good bit of power, normally an amp or 2 which isnt good for a 9v battery even stacked. Now for a more fun side yes you csn stack these indefinitely and can actually get enough power to draw arcs but its dc and itll possibly blow up a battery

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend this for powering anything, just as a party trick.

You’ve discovered resistors, congratulations. Probably cheaper/easier to just use the right resistor instead of a piece of uncoated graphite, though.

What kind of gloves do you think would be the best? Would surgical gloves work? (Those blue ones that you can use when handling raw meet) I know I have some of those lying around.

Because it's fun lol. I would totally recommend, just be careful to not overheat or else all the oils will be extracted from the chocolate and it tastes horrific.
