this remake packs quite a punch, it isn't accurate sure but it has its own character. its also pretty cool you did the avicii edit, you did miss the extended ending but thats fine

what are the pulsing drums layered with the guitar that come in at 2:55 ? is it just the kick and a delay? is it something else that follows on the off beat? is it an effect?

Not to be rude or anything, but I wouldn't call it a "perfect remake" It's pretty good, but not extremely accurate. The strings sound a bit fake, but the piano was really accurate. And I really liked what you did in the end with the electronic sounds. Good job!
