@@Zoearaymond Thanks , and that's nice you do both though changes it up . Yeah I agree it is easier although there is fake trees that seem so much nicer that you can do one big section at a time they are just expensive 😭 We have to do ours one branch at a time 😅

real Christmas tree hands down for me ever sense I was born we have gotten a real Christmas tree the day after thanksgiving ( just my opinion) we do get 3 Christmas trees but we have 1 fake one and 2 real ones

@@Zoearaymond All themed trees. We are in Orlando so one tree is a Disney Tree. We started with a 3 foot tree and each year we add one ornament from Disney to it . Then went to a 5 foot tree now a 9 foot tree. We also have a food tree in the kitchen where everything on the tree is food related ornaments. Our traditional tree which is all ribbon is in the lliving room. Our woodlands themeed tree is in the study. Our Dr Seuss tree is outside on the lanai. Each of the bedrooms have their own trees and each person decorates them how they want them. We start after Halloween and it's so fun.

I had a real tree one year because I always wanted one but realized it was the worst idea ever I had sap all over my hands all the time my dog would drink the water from the bottom and get sick and I kept having to fill it up not to mention that we had to use a ladder to decorate because of how tall it was and it costed a lot more money than a fake tree. In other words, team fake

Ugh I feel so motherly towards you because you are so sweet and chill. My OCD could never but you are so laid back about everything and I want to come help so bad. Take the garland that you have draped over the side and across the floor and wrap your stair rail instead. Leave that other bit empty. I think you had a plug at the top of your stairs on that other side (although I'd use a battery set and they are so inexpensive on Amazon and you get a ton on long wire and it will have a timer and remote and you never have to take it off again, you just leave it on. If you choose to go that route I'll tell you which ones I've got if you wanna know. If you lived near this mom would come and give all the tips and help, decorating is my thing! Your stuff is so sweet, it gives first timer in the best way possible. I love that you are just starting and didn't go into debt at Target like some of these girls do, we love a responsible queen! 😂

I definitely have to stop myself from spending a dumb amount of money bc this is our first year married, first year in this house, and I don’t have to figure everything out right this second!
