i built the citcuit that you pm me , how about value of capacitor ( dependent on inverter frequencies ) ? i tried 154 - 630v , my transfomer running at 25khz , it;s drop from 270v ( idling) to 180v @ 2000-3000 rpm , continue to drop when increase engine speed. do i need to lower the cap value ?

i think the signal is problem , because i;m using resistor and zener to filter pickup pulse , i'll try using optocoupler next time.

Hi. i already done this pcb, when switch ignition ON, LED test blinking 3 times. When starter start the signal LED blingking following the signal pickup. But there no hv generate? i used TYN 616 scr, UC3842b and manual winding transformer following in website. And used Honda Cub 110cc hex. Why no spark generate?

EI 22/19/6 is transformer core only , it's have shape of E and I so called EI ( EE instead) 22 is length in mm of width 19 is length in mm of height 6 is thickness in mm so you can use any ferite transformer core that have similar specs will work.

and one more, what type is transformer you used? I got to shop they dont know EI 22/19/6 is. Any other name like audio transformer 12 stepup to 240 or else. ?
