It's absurd that an artist of his caliber has to perform like this for money. But that seems to be the way it goes. Humans aren't quite right yet.

It’s crazy to me that with the monumental works he’d released by this point, that he was playing a house party. Not a bad thing, just a little crazy. I guess the parties I’ve been to were a little low grade. 😂

It was a favor to me. He played my birthday in June 1998 and my brother’s in Sept 1998.

@@songsohiavideoarchive4221 wish I could have seen at least one show. I didn’t discover his music until five or so years ago. Not a week goes by without me listening to his stuff, Didn’t It Rain and the black album most often. His music feels like KY, WV, and OH to me, and is some of my favorite music of all time. Do you mind if I ask how you knew him?

Even though I've known this song since the time it was written, I've never seen any video of his till now, and omg, what a gem this is! How awesome it would be to be there at that moment. I've also learnt that he's not with us anymore. What a horrible loss. Im aure he was an awesome being in every aspect. How else would he have written these songs.

Thank you for the answer. Were you a friend to Jason back then? Do you know any "Molina-spots" in or around Lorain, Oberlin or Chicago that would be worth visiting? I know his High School and College, but for example do you know where the trailer park in Lorain that he grew up at are located? Or his adress in Chicago? Im thankful for all info. @@songsohiavideoarchive4221
