I love seeing how things work. Watching those ships come out and get on and off the huge rigging platforms. Just way cool! The sheer scale of what those guys are doing is strong me in my tracks. Can't take my eyes off it. Thanks for sharing this stuff!

I noticed at 5:12 the REAL Yard Manager was on the prowl keeping an eye on things. And another example of an advantage to having a metal hulled boat, if you DO have to move it around during construction, you leave the supports welded to the hull!

Thanks for the preview! Those stocky chimes will serve you (and the guests) well in rough water. The prop guards look plenty sturdy for potential floating debris, too. I think it was a smart call to go with real steel. Plasticky paper thin boats may have cool-looking statistic pages, but a proper vessel like this is going to hold up better in the bump and grind of real world navigating. Congratulations and we're all anticipating launch day for you! :)

She's a big girl. Everything below the waterline looks very 'working boat'. Bulbous bow. Twin full keels. Even her forward superstructure has a commercial fishing boat feel. I like it. She definitely has ocean capable written all over her. Good luck with the sea trials and happy travels.

Are you going to give credit to the "guard" cat that photo bombed your 82 as it was turning to go back in the shed? He's probably keeping the mice out of your boat! 😅

It blows me away how little of the hull is actually under the waterline. I know the machinery and tankage makes it possible but as a retired crabber it looks tippy. I'm use to 3/4 of the hull under water. Beautiful boat, can't wait to see it moving out.
