8dpo tested negative. Went ultrasound due to cramps and headache. But the uterus is empty. What does mean it? Wish to have baby girl.

We didn’t try any method with our 1st and got a boy. With our second, I wanted a girl so we tried just shallow penetration and not directly on the day I was ovulating. Got another boy. For try 3, I was more dedicated to doing Shettles accurately. We did shallow penetration again, this time “depositors” 4 days before ovulation, and I douched with lemon water (per my OB’s recommendation. He’s also a fan of Shettles) right before sex. Got our 3rd boy. Now while trying to conceive for baby #4, we only had “reproductive sex” 5-6 days before ovulation, only missionary position, douched before each time we had sex during those 5-6 days before, I took calcium and magnesium for 3 months before TTC. It took us 7 months to conceive this time… and guess what, I just got the SneakPeek back saying we’re having boy #4. 🤪 I’m convinced my husband just doesn’t produce X sperm. We would have 2 boys and 2 girls if Shettles was accurate. Also, with all our babies, I never orgasmed, so that doesn’t really sway it one way or another imo. It was hard enough convincing my husband to try for a 4th, I know we don’t be trying again for anymore babies in the future. Right now, I’m going through the mourning process for the little girl (or 2) I always dreamed of having. 😢 Anecdotally, most of the friends and people I see in our area have boys. Very few girls 10 and under. I just praying my boys are able to find good godly wives in 10-20 years because it seems like there’s WAY more men in America than women for this next generation. 😬 My sons are also pretty bummed, since they were really wanting a sister. All their friends have at least one sister, and I think they wanted that experience too. They’re all very loving and protective boys. But now we’ll have even teams of 2 vs 2 when the boys play sports at home, so I guess that’s the silver lining. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know I need to focus on being thankful for this beautiful gift God has graciously given us again. It’s just so hard parting with the idea of having a daughter. 😢 Edit: also, I see this video is 4 years old. Since then, SneakPeek has come out with a new blood test that’s 99.9% accurate since you don’t have to draw the blood yourself. It’s a snap-on test that doesn’t come in contact with any possible male DNA in your environment. So now, SneakPeek’s are a lot more reliable and accurate.

My only complaint is the music during the time-lapse sections. 🤪 The first one I watched started with this sexy song, and this one has “I’m bad”. It’s confusingly ill-matched with the rest of the video, IMO. I’ve taken to turning the music down and turning on closed captions so I can see when to turn up the volume again.

Our family is moving across the country in the next couple months. I started with the third video in this series, and I’ve now circled back around. It’s motivating!

I did mines and it says boy 👦🏽 I don’t want to believe that now I get my nipt test results soon so I can confirm hopefully 🙏 it’s a boy I grew to love having a son now 😢

I think the thing to remember here as well is that if you receive a false boy result, it comes down to user error. In order for there to be a Y chromosome found in your blood, the baby must either be a boy, or you must have contaminated your sample. So I don't think it's fair to blame sneak peak or say the test was wrong. Maybe that it is just very easy to accidentally contaminate your blood.

My blood flow was super high after exfoliating and using the heating pad. I filled the vial in about 15 seconds lol. My husband was on the other side of the room but never touched the kit. We found out via a gender reveal cake, and it turned out to be a girl! Since that showed no male contamination essentially I think it’s much less common to get a false girl unless the baby just isn’t shedding DNA early on (I did it at almost 8 weeks).

Every inaccurate test I see no one post the video of them taking the test … it makes you wonder if the test is actually inaccurate or if these people aren’t doing the test right

We tried the Shettles method to sway for a baby girl after having 2 boys. I conceived on month 1 but miscarried within a week, 2 more attempts and I was pregnant again which stuck. I’ve always had regular predictable cycles so I knew when I ovulated, it was made even easier using OPK’s and temperature tracking. We stuck to the method completely, until one random month my body decided to ovulate early which meant that we had sex right on the day of ovulation. Oops! If Shettles method was accurate then that oopsie would have meant i’d have a boy. 38 weeks and 1 day later and our sweet baby Girl was born 🙂

Wait so you did exactly what it told you not to do because you’d get a false test yet you did it anyway. Then you are shocked that it was inaccurate?

Inaccurate sneak peek tests are almost always a matter of user error. It’s really just a fun thing to do. If you seriously need 100% certainty, do the genetic screening with your Dr. They’ll send the sample to the lab and do the same exact test sneak peek does, but at least, if there’s user error you can blame someone else. There’s always waiting for the ultrasound. I went ahead and did my sneak peek test at 7 weeks and got my accurate boy result. I was crazy about eliminating ALL cross contamination. I do believe that a mother of multiple boys may still have the XY chromosome in her dna, and Sneak Peek should be more specific about that.
