Hi there would you knownif the effect section on behringer ub 2442fx pro can be swapped with the effect section on the behringer x2442 USB ? The 2442usb effects is just emitting a crackling sound at its output. Thanks

Hello. I think you are using too much the potentiometer to amplify the effects. You often change the level from zero to the maximum and the potentiometer is worn or broken. Replace it and I think everything will be fine. If the indications of the effect work normally, I'm pretty sure everything on effect section board is ok. I hope I've been useful for you.
