I remember that season all too well. I was 13, and it was the first time I got excited about the Phillies. My hobby was photography, and I listened to many of the games on a transistor radio in my darkroom in the basement. After that year, I totally lost interest in baseball. BTW, just a couple of years before, there was a movie called "The Days of Wine and Roses", so in '64 I started referring to that baseball season as "The Days of Wine and Rojas". (Bobby Wine and Cookie Rojas)

I really hope all our Philly teams get their act together, because overall, they've been a tough watch lately. However both the Sixers and Phillies won Easter Sunday (which btw happy belated Easter ^_^) so that was pretty cool. And Embiid looks like he will FINALLY be returning to the lineup for the 76ers. But other than that, there's not a whole lot to be optimistic about right now. Phillies ..... it's early so we'll see .... but They've had a couple of ugly losses so far.

With all our local teams, yesterday definitely was a mixed bag. However, im all geared up for the Phillies (i actually bought a hat and some shirts) plus a couple of magazines - for ⚾ and the nfl draft ;)

I'm pretty sure all will be forgiven regarding CJGJ 😂 however his performance will go a lonngggg way as to how fans treat him .

None of what happened yesterday came as a big surprise. But i will always remember Fletcher Cox 🤍💚 🦅 🏈 definitely one of a kind. Sixers - I'll be darned, lol ... classic scenario where a Philly team beats a NY team in NY when you least expect it 😅

One half of game the Sixers looked like total amateurs...then the second half of game decide to wake up .... Pelicans nearly give game away ... yet Sixers still can't take advantage. Typical. But they really, desperately need Embiid, Maxey, Covington, and Melton. And while I don't think Patrick Beverly was a long term investment; they definitely miss his defense.

Its definitely been a fascinating turn of events with all our Philly sports teams ^_^ however the Sixers certainly have been incredibly frustrating lately. And no doubt that it was bittersweet seeing Jason Kelce retire ... but i will always remember him for what he was able to do for the Eagles. As for the Flyers, they're doing terrific, and are gradually improving but probably not an elite contender yet. Phillies I've been waiting ever since their disappointing nlcs loss - but they should have another fine year as long as they're healthy and their big bats produce (which lack thereof kept them from reaching consecutive worldseries appearances).

I don't feel this week is worthless. I have zero concern about other team's issue's, when the Birds are about to win their second Superbowl in my life. I had to wait 44 years to see a SB Victory, I confess I sobbed like a little girl. Now your saying because of other teams issues this week is a drag?
