I haven’t driven any of the Gen 2’s yet, so thanks for your thoughts on it. I have a 22’ 950 HO Sport with a stage 1 clutch kit and aftermarket tires and rims. So far it’s been a great machine. I’ve got 2900 miles on it and the only issue I had was the tires. I kept getting flat after flat. So that’s why I purchased the new ones. I had to redo all the shock adjustments, but once I got those dialed in again it started riding better than ever.

Hey Roland. I find the pricing for zippered windows to be close as per made or bought in price. A local shop her in town that do boats and soft tops price my last machine at $1500 for doors. Pretty much the same as manufacturers.

I have a KF I 54” plow blade for my 21 cforce 800xc. I put a piece of 2 inch ABS solid core plastic pipe on the bottom of the blade. You cut it down the middle so you can install it on the blade. with that plastic pipe on there, you can leave the shoes all the way up, you can go across gravel, pavement, and plow over the grass. It won’t rip anything up. works good got that tip off another KZbinr. I take the synthetic rope off, put the fair lead roller back on. I use a KFI plow strap that I got off Amazon. Works good hasn’t broke yet, but I’m sure I can make one out of a piece of ratchet strap. Haven’t put my blade on yet, but it won’t take long to put on. I left the plow mount on the ATV and never took it off for the summer. Last winter hardly use the plow at all.

@@FANATICALSIDERIDER $4,000 CAD to USD = $2,860 at the current exchange rate. That's a great deal for you! Those old Eigers sell for about $2,000 USD around me (Northern WI) and most are well used. That is awesome! It is so good to ride with these atv-s, i do it too. Just today i did about 45 miles/74km on countryside roads, just to chill with my 2022 cforce 600 (6100 km-s on it now, just did the valve check last weekend). Can you tell me, how much fuel does the 400 take on average? My 600 is 8l/100km if i just travel long distance on road/gravel. And most of the time it comes out to 9.5-10l/100km, mixed trail riding.

Enjoy the video going out for a ride today up to Dundalk area. I have 5500 km on my 2021 800 XC. I’ve checked the belt and measured it still good. I did purchase the 6 mm tool to spread the clutch. I couldn’t find a 6 mm bolt that had enough threads on it to spread the clutch. That’s why I bought the tool. your tire leak is probably the valve stem leaking. just installed the windshield on my cforce I like to try it out.

You could just use some 6mm threaded rod. And either thread on two nuts and tighten them together so you can use a wrench or a socket or you could bend about 3 inches and use that for the handle. Or you could make a handle out of 3/8 inch round stock, which I threaded to 6mm.

There are some serious shortcomings with the CFMoto sxs's but overall if you're going to take it fairly easy on the machine, it's a good machine for the money. The frames are complete junk and they aren't designed for bigger people or easy maintenance. They are fairly reliable, quick, quiet and cheap. They also have a pretty good following of folks that can help you make it moreso.

Almost bought a 2018 CF Moto Trail 800 with 4x4 and diff lock, today, but when I mentioned I wanted it to plow our driveway (similar to yours, basically flat and long, no steep hills etc) the sales guy said, the machine is to light weight and will slip all over on me. I was a bit surprised and decided to try and do some on-line digging. Found your video and now I don't know what to think and you pushed right through the snow like a hot knife through butter. The only time I had an issue pushing snow with my Zforce 800 was once we had over 1 foot of heavy wet snow. It would not do the job. That day, I ended up calling a guy with a truck to plow. But I did learn that I prefer to plow with an atv. An atv is easy to handle and get around objects and stuff. It's my personal preference, others might like using a sxs .
