How fast can these things move while using 3rd rail? I’d imagine it’s slower than overhead wire.

I believe they were limited to 100mph on third rail, as that's the national speed limit for third rail trains in the UK.

Wow excellent shot there! What a working, the sorry looking Anglia 47 sandwiched between the H N 20's which i have just recieved from my model shop, its absolutely fantastic! I even have the Anglia 47! A rare capture you caught there and confused as to why you have no comments? Total mystery! You certainly have a sub from me and well deserved! I don't think that the date is correct, D1013 has been out of service undergoing an overhaul since mid October 2009. Great vid by the way & thank you so much for sharing it.

Casio Exelim EX-P505 which takes 5.0 Megapixel stills and MPeg-4 video at 30 frames/sec - and it fits in your pocket -well a big pocket!

No - you need to risk life and limb walking on the A384 road. Then you have to climb through a gap in the wall and walk through the woods on the opposite side of the river to the railway. Then climb down onto some flat rocks next to the water. Okay in summer but not so sure about winter
