Aaaaswwwwww.. the little smallest robin didn't make it. He hatched too late and couldn't keep up with the bigger chic's.. damn, too bad the person recording this video wouldn't step in and help the lil 'guy from starving to death. Shows how much you really care about these helpless lil' souls. Won't left a finger to lend much needed attention but will lift a camera for that media attention .. 👎

Aaaawwww. They so cute & fuzzy. Try got ATE shortly after leaving because too many predators in area.😬 Well a 90% motility rate guarantees most wont make it past 3 days. They parents just aren't enough. If u want to help place bird feeders near objects they can seek cover under or inside like trees & storage sheds or garage. Place medium bowl of clean water filled enough to submerge their knees so they can bath quickly & keep cool on hot days. All song birds love to bath everyday. 🐥❤️

It may have been the same one I was in! It came in straight on, I was renting a cottage up north somewhat near Huntsville. We lost a few trees and patio furniture and it was just an insane experience, winds were at least 100km/h straightline

I bought a fern first time. Hung it on my porch. Don't you know a robin built a nest in it. She's laid her 4 eggs so I am waiting for them to hatch. She's a great mom

May 30, 2020. The second robin baby flew out of the nest today and now there are 2 left. It was quite an adventure to have these guys on my dwarf pine on the front porch so it was really easy to watch the development. I kept my cats inside until the fledglings were safe! Wonderful nature!

What happened to the fourth fledgling??
@72se4 жыл бұрын
Typically the last to hatch does not survive as it is developmentally to far behind to compete for food

I have the exact same thing happening right now just outside my patio doors here in Somerset in the UK. We are watching the Robins as they grow. It's fascinating to watch the parents. We watched the female build the nest so we have been lucky to watch everything from start to almost finish. The four babies are just over half way so fingers crossed they make it like these did in your wonderful video. Thank you !

Stunningly beautiful video! I have Robin's that spend late Fall, Winter and Spring on my property for 3 yrs now(I see to it they get nutritious foods and clean bird baths (heated baths since in Colorado). They spend time teaching their precious fledglings how to forage. It's delightful to watch. I'm grateful for their friendship!

Its pretty crazy how their eyes after hatching along with their beeks! But thats so momma bird can feed them easier!!!
@TovKafur5 жыл бұрын
Actually they can distract their mom from feeding. I usually remove their eyes for better chance of survival.
