We would love to hear the tool cut. The dead silence is deafening. But please no music.
@oohookoo19 күн бұрын
Was there seriously no audio? Why is it machine tool manufactures post videos and insist on always leaving something out? They either leave out any actual cutting which ends up being a lot of asking. Phrases like "just imagine... " are thrown around more often. --OR-- they show real footage of the cutting and omit the sound. I think its a company mandate that all employees make sound FX's with their mouths.

I didn’t say the machining adds stress. The stress comes from firing rounds. The barrel is made from a different material so thermal coefficient is going to be different. I see most uppers are made from 7075-T6. I guess if you make it with enough thickness it doesn’t really matter.

Why would you fixture for individual operations when you have a 4th axis rotary?
@glenrush36055 ай бұрын
Slick process, but to insure a really good fit with the part, the jaws need to be preloaded on a ring or spider fixture with the clamping pressure as close to the actual running pressure that will be used for production. Work holding is where the rubber meets the road. The time taken to do it properly will pay back in part quality.

Now when you say affordable, do you mean affordable for only big companies or rich individuals? Because this machine is $134,888 and that last time I checked, that is NOT affordable at all.

@OkumaAmericaCorp9 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching our video! Yes, all of our coolant functions for cutting are M-code controlled in the program and can be automated. We recommend reaching out to your local Okuma distributor if you'd like to learn more about the MULTUS B250II, automation possibilities and our coolant systems. You can locate their contact information here: www.okuma.com/distributors
