Thank you for emphasizing both that the land that needs to be restored is the land that we're actively using or have already used, and that humanity is not the enemy. I hate it when people say "humans are cancer" or "humans are an invasive species" as though there is something fundamentally incompatible between humans and the rest of the biosphere. No. We absolutely can and should cohabit the land with nonhuman organisms in a way that is mutually beneficial. This is much more sustainable than our current way of declaring giant swaths of land to be either wild or developed. It's also the most likely way to get people onboard with the idea.

My grandfather had the front yard like a forest, woodchip and gravel floors native trees shrubs planys even a little fountain and we had alll kinds of creatures in the yard that havent been in the property in over a decade or so, i want to do a test like this i like the clear plexiglass so you can see the ruts . Is that regular plexiglass or something else? Plexi got sooooo expensive
