Special teams is one leg of a three legged stool. Without good special teams and a kicker, the stool falls.

Would be great to see Chris Bell actually play hard for 40 min a single time in his career. Doesn’t get how to play hard at this level. Cant just pout and get lost when you miss shots. Red was speaking to him in the presser.

This wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Obviously the FTs are upsetting and we could’ve won by just being average FT shooters, but the defensive improvement after the half gives me hope for what this team can do. On to Texas Tech, who I think we can beat.

What folks don't seem to understand-players need the fans when they are trying to grind it out. The fans can bring the "energy" that can push you while you are on the court. This was another tight game. But you know how it goes, when you are winning everyone shows up. But the players need folks to show up now. Coach is right, you gotta bring the energy for yourself and your teammates every game cause "no body cares" is true to all of us chasing whatever dreams we have. Well, Mom & Dad, you always got them❗

This was a way better press conference for Red. You can see he's frustrated and knows the results on the floor are unacceptable. This game was progress. My big concern though is the rotation. There is absolutely zero reason Chris Bell should have played the whole second half. He was a massive liability on defense and a space cadet on offense. Those two turnovers when he was in the corner (one where he casually watched a ball float by him in the corner as he knocked it out, the other where for some ungodly reason he completely stopped his cut to the corner) were two of the biggest bonehead plays I've ever seen as an Orange fan. And the lack of box outs on his man cost us 2 putbacks and put the game out reach. No idea how Autry watched all that unfold and thought he was the best option for us to win.

Turnovers, missed free throws, terrible defense in the 1st half. They’re going nowhere

Coach like the message .. better days are coming... the team played more like the Cuse of Old, and that includes free throw shooting...

Donny freeman "good around the rim" lol. YOU DIDN'T PLAY HIM ENOUGH IN THE SECOND HALF TO SEE THAT???? You put in a guard that cant keep up and makes bad decisions. We'd rather you put in Kyle Cuff. He plays around the rim and can handle the rock. Carlos should not start. Bad coaching.

Ask him about Carlos being a major disappointment,and why he bothered putting him in the game at the end when it really counted when you held him out most of the 2nd half ,when he came in we went right back down hill. He is a hurt not a help to the team. Carlos must be benched!

How about try winning and maybe being over 500 and maybe you'll get a crowd ? However, when you lose to 2 no name teams why would anyone want to spend money to see an under 500 squad !

kzbin.infoXABLQFasy68?si=UfMGCf1RWHZFKsFs. My questions were answered tonight, 1) Starling is def #1 option 2) Starling played 40 min, Lampkin 33 min, Bell 30 min, Davis 28 min... 9 guys saw action. 3) Mix of Zone and Man held Texas to 29 points in the 2nd half..so even though it was a loss and very winnable, I am more encouraged than the first 3 games!

Coach must find a way to get Davis and Freeman on the floor at the same time. This is the first game this season where the bigs were hedging hard on the high screens. It made a huge difference pushing their guards back toward center court.

Lets talk about home town recruiting 1st -loyalty is given when loyalty is shown for the talent in CNY. So many good WBB players were never given a chance in CNY for well over a decade!!! Traditional recruiting and thinking is old . Think outside of the box, solid programs look for talent at home first then go outside. "Syracuse WBB never takes any girls from CNY" This is what is being said, there is no connection or relationship with the community from SU WBB. The only one that I see that's trying to change that narrative is Fran Brown🫡🫡 Thats why the support isnt there at least in the city .The Syracuse community has been disappointed for years !!! When was the last time an SU WBB coach went to a local HS game🤔🤔🤔🤔. It's so sad and unfortunate that the separatist attitude towards the city still exsist. Traditional thinking must change to implement the support !!!

As far as attendance goes. My wife and came to the games for 10 years. Around us were mostly seniors. New coach comes in and they eliminate the senior discount and jack up the prices. its a mess of your own making. you would still make money with the ridiculous food prices. we stay home and watch all the games on tv.
@tarad23194 сағат бұрын
You should share this with their Athletic Dept. particularly since you were a dedicated supporter for 10 years.

Coach please stop talking about Fair, she is not here and cannot provide the team any points. Give your present team members credit. Respect is earned and its about the players as they are the entertainment you are not the focal point. People do not go to a game and root for the coach. if you want people at the ball games give us a star and win games. You need marketing! The team needs to be seen on TV not ACCNX. Show on ESPN+ greater audience to create greater fanbase. Other ACC teams are shown there on ESPN+.

Coach and the girls seem to be learning life lessons. Never to old to learn either. No one cares about you in life or very few actually do. It’s up to you to rise up in life inside of yourself. Always remember you are exactly where you need to be so that you can lean and grow. Things happen “for” you not “to” you. People will come as they will be attracted and be like a magnet when the energy is right. Thus, the phrases grind in silence and build and they will come.
